@Ace-Lucario It is absolutely normal, yes! It also didn't help that Sould Reaver 1 was released fairly at the end of the PSX lifecycle.
I remember reading an article of this (back then) obscure game giving it a 9, which was my incentive to at least try it. And certainly loved it back then! Amazing atmosphere, graphics and VA! However, it remains to be seen how these remaster turns out. In my opinion, alot of PSX games have aged poorly compared to the 16-bit era. Fingers crossed!
Great news! I've just finished it and it definitely surprised me (in a good way) with its difficulty on Wild Mode. I've played the original on the Gameboy and its successor on the NES (which have always been my personal favorite Kirby games), but this has definitely taken top spot!
Hopefully its success will eventually lead to a sequel of some sorts.
