I already have this game on 3ds, but I really wish I had the Wii version 😢. Though even though with the 3d mode on the 3ds version looks pretty good, the Wii version is still graphically superior. And I know alot of people say the 3ds version is better due to not having waggle controls, I actually like having motion controls implemented as to me it's made the gameplay of titles like Kirby's Return To Dreamland and Super Mario Galaxy 1& 2 more fun actually. Plus, the Wii version is alot more challenging than 3ds version so that's another thing I like.
@DrkBndr But the Wii version of Just Dance 2018 and 2019 was still the second best selling version, outselling the PS3(Just Dance 2018), PS4, 360, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the game. With sales like that no wonder Ubisoft still brings these games to the Wii. And who knows we may see a slight rise in sales for the Wii version this year as since Just Dance 2020 isn't coming to Wii U, many Wii U owners who still get Just Dance for that system may end up getting the Wii version instead of getting a new console as it is playable on the Wii U via backwards compatibility. Heck, that's the reason I still get these games for the Wii as I don't want to upgrade systems just for 1 game, plus I also do it just to keep the Wii alive.
@BenAV I still use my Wii to play Just Dance games. I actually got into this series last year when I got Just Dance 2018, which was my first Just Dance game. I also plan on getting Just Dance 2019 and 2020 for the Wii sometime in the near future. And aside from Just Dance I'm also buying other Wii games I still don't own such as Wii Sports, which I only got a few months ago as it didn't come bundled with my Wii.
@Anti-Matter I hope Ubisoft at least releases 2-3 more Just Dance games on Wii. See, I'm one of those people still buying Wii games including Just Dance as I was a late adopter of the Wii (I got mine for Christmas 2011, less than a year before the Wii U came out). So for all these years throughout the Wii U and now the Switch's lifespan I've been buying up all the Wii games I wanted to play years ago but never got to like Kirby's Return To Dreamland, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and even Wii Sports which I only got last year as it didn't come with my Wii and mine instead came with New Super Mario Bros Wii. I recently got my first Just Dance game late year as well when I got Just Dance 2018 for Wii. I've really had fun playing it so far and I'm glad Ubisoft is still supporting the series on Wii that way I know I'll still have some future Wii games to look forward to.
@westman98 Yes but the Wii version of Just Dance 2018 was still the second best selling version of the game, outselling the Wii U, Ps3, Ps4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Pc versions of the game. The Wii also had the second best selling version of Just Dance 2019 as well. So with sales like that you can't blame Ubisoft for still releasing games on Wii.
I'm glad Just Dance 2020 is coming to the Wii cause I recently got into the series when I got Just Dance 2018 for my Wii last year along with Wii Sports(finally). I'm excited to get Just Dance 2019 and this game sometime in the near future.
I'm glad Switch owners are getting the chance to own this. I played the 3ds demo of this game when it first came out and I loved it. I still plan on buying the game for my new 3ds, I just have so many other 3ds games in my backlog like Metroid:Samus Returns, Mario Kart 7, Pokemon Ultra Sun, Fire Emblem Awakening, and WarioWare Gold that it will be a while before I get it.
@Oat I have Mario Party Island Tour and to me it's a pretty good game and it's not as bad as many say it is. If you don't have it you should consider getting it.
Since it came out back in December 2015, I've been playing Pokemon Picross and loving it. But I've also been wanting to try out some of the other games in the series. Maybe after I get the My Nintendo Picross: The Legend Of Zelda:Twilight Princess, I'll start getting some of the E series Picross games.
@TheFox I would love that as well. I still buy Wii games btw. I got my Wii for Christmas 2011 and all throughout the Wii U's lifecycle I kept on buying Wii games and never got a Wii U. Even after the release of the Switch I've gotten quite a few Wii games as of late, most recently EA Sports Active. There are still Wii games I would like to get that I haven't such as The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Wii Sports and Just Dance. Yeah, after all these years I never did get Wii Sports for my Wii as when I got my system it came bundled with New Super Mario Bros Wii and the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack. As for Just Dance, I've never gotten a Just Dance game but I'm trying to get into the series so I'm gonna get some of the newer games like JD17,JD18, and JD19 on Wii.
@Spectra Deep Silver didn't develop The Alliance Alive, that was developed by Cattle Call with assistance from Grezzo and FuRyo. Deep Silver DID however develop Shin Megami Tensai: Strange Journey Redux which released in May, 2 months after The Alliance Alive.
@TheFox You wanna hear something even more amazing? My local Walmart still carries both Just Dance 2018 and 2017 on Wii, as well as other Wii games like Let's Sing 2018 and Skylanders Superchargers Racing. What I love is that they have more Wii games in stock than Wii U titles. Like aside from Skylanders Superchargers the only other Wii U game as of late I've been able to find there over the past few months is Paper Mario: Color Splash. Also worth mentioning is that they have a lot more 3ds games in stock compared to Switch titles but that's not surprising considering that Switch games are more expensive than games on 3ds.
@Beau_Skunk I know, my local Walmart is the same way! Literally every game case in their electronics department, except for one, is all Xbox and PlayStation. And the one case that does have Nintendo games in it is literally 50% 3ds games(which I don't mind as I still buy 3ds stuff), 40% Switch games, and 10% Wii games not mention the handful of games on another shelf. Another thing that makes me kinda happy in a way is that my local Walmart has more Wii games in stock than Wii U games. I just went there here recently and really the only Wii U game I saw there was Skylanders Superchargers while they had several Just Dance games, a Skylanders game, and a Let's Sing game all on Wii.
@Shard1 Yeah, pointer controls are one aspect in which I think the Wiimote does better than the Joycon controllers. As for waggle controls, as divisive as they are, I've never really had a problem with them. Actually, when they are implemented right like in Super Mario Galaxy I think waggle controls can make games better.
@1UP_MARIO Me too! I just got Super Mario 3d Land earlier this month and for the holiday season I would like to get JD2017/2018 for Wii and either Pokemon Omega Ruby or Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon for 3ds(as I have the original Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube and before getting the 3ds remake I would like to see how Luigi's Mansion plays on 3ds).
