@elpardo1984 I hope so! I wasn't aware of all this happening and had pre-ordered it from the website during the window it was avaliable. Hopefully I'll be okay!!
@FishyS I'm not actually a longtime fan tbh, I'm new to this series myself. Also ouch! I usually just used the map and found the fruit very easily, although I also had played the first few pikmin before 3 so I had some experience under my belt.
Yeah, difficulty settings would help greatly. Like I really want a challenge, I liked the time limit, the day limit etc, and would love a mode dedicated to that, and for those that dislike all those limits, there could be a more chill mode. I'm really hoping nighttime will satisfy me on that front.
@FishyS I mean - not seeing the time limit for Mario Wonder made me PERSONALLY really happy. I disliked the time limit. I just wanted to explore the levels at my own pace and admire things, but no, the timer kept pushing me to beat the level.
Personally I loved the agency, it wasn't even like it was stressful, as long as you got one part you were fine, it just made me feel like Olimar a little bit, like you had to get off that planet before it was too late. It also pushed me to improve my run on future playthroughs. Maybe we had a mode where there was a time limit and a mode where there was no time limit or something, then both type of fans could enjoy the game.
I also think a difficulty mode would have been neat - I mean 3DX literally had multiple difficulty modes.
But each to their own - I'm excited for Pikmin 4, with or without a time limit. Just prepared for people to ignore the fact I'm excited for Pikmin 4 and hyperfixate on the fact I like the "time limit".
@nessisonett Peter Sallis passed the role onto Ben Whitehead (Peter recommended Ben), who has been voicing Wallace for years now. Honestly his latest stuff is so convincing that you forget its a different actor playing Wallace now.
@LawnChairMan the benefit was that the steam version was specifically made for steam deck users both in interface and everything. The site version was awkward, REALLY awkward on the deck, and this was dolphin and steams solution.
@JohnnyMind Yeah being in a different country might be difficult, so hopefully we can play worldwide or with friends from other countries. I have steam/discord if you want to chat.
@Jhena it's funny actually - I grew up on the original FOMT, but I needed to take constant breaks as I would get very bored within 5 minutes. You could say it was cause I was a child but it happened even as an adult too. The remake on the other hand I've played non-stop for hours and not felt bored.
I've got no idea why it happens to me personally. I had some theories about it having to do with the artstyle (this would be personal if it was), but I've got no concrete answer and it's bugging me that I don't know what it is about the original that gets me feeling so bored. I've not had this problem with other GBA games or any other old game. It's just FOMT!!
I grew up on the original AWL game too, so I'm super excited for the remake, as I adored AWL.
@Jhena No worries! I get it though, the the originals have the better style and stuff - although I still loved the FOMT remake all the same and ended up playing it more than the original, and I will likely do the same for the Wonderful Life remake.
I wouldn't mind if it was like SDV or a full on MMO. After all, we've had countless singleplayer Story of Seasons games, I don't really see the harm in them experimenting, and it could be a breath of fresh air, and this is especially better in the fact those who prefer the singleplayer experience are getting one anyway, since there's two games coming out, with one being multiplayer, the other being singleplayer focused, so both types of people can enjoy a Story of Seasons game!
@JohnnyMind exactly!! Just because people here don't want multiplayer in their farming games, doesn't represent the ENTIRE audience. People wanted it in SDV and it was delivered, so there's clearly a market for it.
That's why I'm glad there's a single player game as well as a multiplayer one. People have the option. There are plenty of singleplayer Story of Seasons games anyway, why is it such a big deal when they bring out ONE multiplayer game?
@Jhena the remakes are because the creators are putting their old Harvest Moon games under their new Story of Seasons branding, because the og fellas lost the rights to the name, and now Natsume owns it.
Also I wouldn't mind if the multiplayer was like SDV honestly.
"Please note: Super Mario 3D All-Stars can only be purchased until March 31st 2021. Owners can still play its entire contents after this date has passed, and can also redownload it from Nintendo eShop if the software has been archived."
@Smashfan502 I didn't have it as official because when creating the username, I couldn't do the ".", so because I didn't know how to get around it, I chose Little007bond (my old username), till I could figure it out, which I did!
Some places don't allow it for some reason, dunno why. I think it's because "." doesn't count as a letter.
@Smashfan502, thanks! This is an old username. I have a different username but it won't register it because it has a full stop. Will change it once I find a way around it.
@Welshland Same here... with the way this game has slowly been trickling out information... and now the fact digital pre-orders have gone up in the form of download codes, hopefully won't be too long until it lets us download from eshop itself, as I have money at the ready!

@CaleBoi25 mouse mode is quite a cool option to have indeed!
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Switch Comparison Video Makes Nintendo's Upgrades Clearer
@Suketoudara I just checked and it's just a disclaimer about Nintendo Switch 2 output, it's not about Mario Galaxy's specific framerate!

Re: Story Of Seasons Multiplayer Game Announced Alongside New Traditional Instalment
@Jhena I did not no - and FOMT on GBA was the only Harvest Moon game I felt "bored" by.
Yep, that's all that matters!

@Smashfan502, yes logically it shouldn't count as a letter, but it sadly does.

@Smashfan502 Yeah, changed it MrFrog, that's my official username. No worries, you didn't make me upset or nothing!
full stop as in "." this Sadly when making a username, I can't do Mr. Frog as it doesn't allow it here when making a username.

@peanutbuttercup hopefully you do soon!
Re: Deals: Nintendo UK Offers Digital Copy Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons With Physical Bonuses
@Cero Going digital doesn't make a lick of difference. Both physical and digital Switch games save on the console, not the cartridge.
Edit: annnnd I just realized that question was already answered, oof
