My roommate and I are on the same switch so on the same island. He was able to talk to Tom and get the recipes for the bridge, ladder, and everything else. When I logged on and tried to talk to Tom to get the recipes, he just told me to talk to my roommate and didn’t give me the recipes. How do I do that in game? How do I get the recipes so I don’t have to have my roommate make items for me?
