@faint Makes sense... I already owned the two games from that collection that I was interested in when it came out (Altered Beast and Galaxy Force II), so I kind of ignored it.

I'm considering Out Run with this sale, although I do already have Super Hang On...

3D Altered Beast is absent from the list... likely because they know people will still pay full price for the greatest game in history #POWERUP

every time there's a "famous" hard level, it's always mario world theme... i guess because of the "up throw" move? i'd like to see one made using the other games and their unique moves and abilities.

Everybody should watch the movie "Bamboozled." It's not directly about video games, or even Native Americans, but it relates to every group of people that has been dehumanized by the media.

The "savage" stereotype IS offensive. I'm not part of a tribe or anything, but I have family members that are and I have some native blood. When you present a caricature of a "priest" or a "merchant" you are generalizing an occupation. When you do it to a war painted "tomahawk" class, you are generalizing a group of people, and not in a positive way. The "savage" image is the reason so many were killed or forced to become "civilized."

It didn't really make sense to have one of the jobs be a racial stereotype while the rest of the jobs are more or less actual "jobs," like knight, priest, pirate... cat thing... time mage... okay... well... you get it.

for anyone that finds this... i also thought it was not working, but i figured out what i was doing wrong. i thought "hold down on the d-pad" meant hold the d-pad down... anywhere. but it really means hold the DOWN BUTTON. i hope this helps someone, although maybe i'm the only one who didn't understand.

I'm going to have to dust off my account here and log on to chime in on this on this one as well... in my opinion this is one of the best Kirby games of all time. I feel like it did a way better job than Rainbow Curse in just about every category. Way better level design, lots of playable characters, lots of mini games, and possibly the best rendition of the Kirby soundtrack ever... which you could also switch to classic mode! There is just so much to do in this game, and all of it is fun.

I actually think a Pikmin would make for an interesting mobile game, but if they called it 4 there would be an uproar.

@123akis Yeah that must be the case... and I'm guessing Japan has a completely different word, but I still see it as "booyah" and you see it as "nice."

"Booyah" is so much better than "nice." I'm glad I live in a "booyah" territory.

Back when the Wii U launched I still had cable so I tried it out, but my cable service plan wasn't a choice, so I never got it to work. It will not be missed.

Is it really SD? I've been watching Hunter x Huenter and it seems pretty HD to me.

@Mona-Reggie True, I suppose there are multiple names... but as one of the most common is saying the date, it strikes Americans when they hear it even in other context... which is kind of a strange and unique situation.

And yes, Friday the 13th would be a great day for SMM ghost house DLC.

@Aromaiden True. I don't think anyone anywhere, US or otherwise, should take issue with a date. It's just a date.

NoA knows it's a sensitive date though, as they've listed it as "11th of September," when typically in the US we say the month first. To name a horrible event after 1/365th of the year isn't fair to the date! They should have called it something else.

9/11 will likely always be touchy because it's remembered by the date. If a product advertisement said "RELEASING PEARL HARBOR DAY!" obviously that would be horrible. But saying "RELEASING 12/7!" is fine. But since 9/11 is also a real date... yeah, people will always freak out about it.

Also, I agree that cancelling the event is silly. Iwata would want the people to play games. "GIVE THOSE PEOPLE GAMES!!" (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice)
