First time I got the drift i just bought a Hori D Pad Joycon. Got the Zelda one for like 15$ on clearance, they're on Amazon normally for 25$ I want to say. I didnt mind giving up left rumble as the thing worked awesome in old school and fighting games and fit just fine un my Satisfye grip. I also have pro controllers so replacing it wasn't a big deal until Mario Party cane out, then I just got a replacement thumbstick and the tools needed to fix it for I think less than 15$ in a kit on Amazon. Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to do it and turned out was pretty easy, but I will say it's not the first controller I've taken apart, but I'm sure a novice can do it. Worth a gamble at that price and you'll be proud of yourself for fixing a Joycon.
Controller is awesome and my go to gamepad for fighting games as it has that lovely SEGA rolling D pad that's a dream in fighting games; also has the 6 button layout AND shoulder buttons which makes it universal to use in emulating the 16 bit era and most of the 32 bit. As far as mapping the buttons there are shortcut hotkeys that you can press to change the button mapping I believe. I'd Google that or check reddit as the paperwork that comes with the controllers is light. ALSO, I do believe with that last Switch controller update you may not need to do that as you can freely remap controllers using the Switch in settings menu controller adjustments. I do believe it's seen as a Pro controller.
Lastly, 8bitdo is releasing a highly customizable arcade stick that can do wired and bluetooth here in the next few weeks (mid October) so I'd keep an eye on that.
The M30 does work amazingly in Street Fighter Collection, Ultra SF2, and Streets of Rage 4 I can confirm.
I'm just thinking to myself how many chats and cigs I've bummed off coworkers back in my youth. Just to be able to spark one up and have idle chit chat with the man would have been an awesome experience.
Then it'd get weird if he catches me keeping the butt off the cig I'd have bummed off him 🤣
This looks totally awesome, I love Metroidvania games. I really hope it gets a physical release. Not only for collectability, but due to licensing issues. Sure it'll be available next few years bit eventually it expires, and we have the tragedy of what happened to the great Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. I'd have bought this game without the Mummy tie in.

Re: Monster Hunter Rise Officially No Longer A Switch Exclusive, Coming To PC In 2022
I don't mind it's like a year later. I'd actually double dip if there was cross progression or better yet, crossplay.

Looks cool but I'm good with my 8bitdo SN30 if I need a backup Pro controller/SNES Classics and my M30 for classics and fighting games.
