Good luck getting preorder items from GameStop. They get a few at each store so if you're not one of the first 3-4 people picking up the game, you're not going to get it.
As someone who's played most of all the other Fire Emblems, I just couldn't get into this one. Most of the character interactions are very cringy. The story is pretty poor, the characters are boring, gameplay is okay. It just feels like a 3rd grader wrote most of the stuff in this game. I took an L and stopped about 15 hrs in. There are way better games out there than to waste time on this one. Very disappointed
Person 3 is the best Persona. I've played through FES and the Portable one. I don't understand why they just didn't do the FES. It's a lot better than the portable one in my opinion. Just being able to walk around and explore the school, town, etc. makes the experience so much better.
So far I've played the game for about an hour on the Switch (no real spoilers if you want to keep reading). The graphics are not very good on the Switch. The color is kinda faded and everything is a little hazy. There are crazy amount of pop-ins especially since you'll be traveling at high speeds.
The OST on the cyber levels is actually pretty good and the cyber levels themselves are pretty fun.
The overworld itself is descent if a little bland. I think those faded colors and hazyness are making it seem that way. You open the map up by doing little puzzles and there are a lot of collectibles. Once you open up the map, grind rails appear to let you travel to and from certain points at a very fast rate. You can also level up and get different skills.
The controls themselves are pretty good. There are 2 options you can choose from when starting the game. Action Style (recommended for people who are not familiar with Sonic gameplay) and High Speed Style (recommend for people who are used to Sonic gameplay). You can customize the controls. In the options you can adjust things like starting speed, initial boost speed, turning speed, boost turning speed, top speed, steering speed, acceleration, bounce height, as well as the camera. However, you can't change the actual button mapping. In spite of this, I think the controls are very intuitive.
I haven't played a Sonic game since the Sega Genesis so I don't know how it compares to others. It's nothing special but at the same time it's a pretty fun game. I actually like exploring and opening the map since you can traverse the area at such high speeds and the controls are pretty good.

Re: Video: MVG Investigates Switch Online's "Impressive" Game Boy & GBA Emulation
Gameboy and GBA Emulation has been around for over 20 years already. It would be a shame if Nintendo didn't get it right.

Re: Sonic Frontiers Lead Composer Upset By Leaks, Says It's "Ruining The Experience For Others"
Played for an hour. Overworld OST is pretty weak. On the other hand, the cyber levels OST is really good (at least the few levels that I played).
