Hope rainway (pc streaming app reportedly coming to the switch)actually works, it'll probably be the only way to play a monster hunter on the switch in your prefered language for quite some time
@Stargazer So I guess Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Monster Hunter, Disgaea, Harvest Moon (you never know), Pokemon, etc. are just not enough. You're reducing the target audience for the Switch with those views....
I must have watched a different event than you guys, there was absolutely nothing I was excited about. My brother came to play mario kart with me a couple hours after the event (he lives in the same street) and I just couldn't find a single game that I saw during the event that I knew he would be excited for (he bought the Switch for Zelda and hasn't found anything worth buying since launch)... I just told him rocket league is coming and so is Skyrim... that was all.
For the Switch:
Mario+Rabbids: ... I'm not 5 anymore...
Super Mario Odyssey: I couldn't care less
Metroid Prime 4: I couldn't care less
Yoshi: Seriously? Come on Nintendo!
Kirby: Same as Yoshi
Fire Emblem Warriors: Only the 1000th spin-off of dynasty warriors, how great is it to play functionally the same game every time (the only one that was a bit different was the Attack on titan spin-off)
A new 'core' Pokemon RPG in development for Switch: Ok cool, but we've got absolutely no information about it (is it going to be like all the other Pokemon games or are they finally going to shake things up)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: We knew it was coming, looks ok but definitely underwhelming in the graphics department
Expansion Pass details for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Ok but we already knew about it and I'm not really interested to be honest. I'll wait for the story DLC to see if the season pass is actually worth it
In the third party department what did we get: Fifa, Skyrim, Rocket league, the stupid no man "skylander" from ubisoft... was there anything else (real question no snark attached)?
Apparently most of the commenters don't actually understand the problem. It's not about being offended, it's about the fact that this gesture has a meaning and is considered an insult in most european countries. It's basically the same as flipping the bird or just shouting "nibelsnarf you!" at the guy you just hit. Is it ok in your books to have a character just shouting insults in a game aimed at kids?
I live in Belgium and it's a pretty common gesture here, so I was quite surprised when I saw it in the game. I personally found it funny that they would put such a gesture in the game, but I totally understand them removing it since kids might want to imitate her and get in trouble for it.

@electrolite77 They were expected, but don't expect excitement from me.

@Stargazer Is liking platformers a condition sine qua non to purchase a console from Nintendo? I don't think so...
