Re: Microsoft To Share "Vision For The Future Of Xbox" Next Week

@Ade117 I get where you're coming from, but unfortunately the Xbox as a console has never been lucrative for Microsoft. They've always lost money as a hardware manufacturer. The original Xbox system actually suffered Microsoft a net loss of over $4 billion.

In the end, as sad as it is, it really makes the most sense to do what Sega did and just put all their games on other platforms. But I do think there should still be enough competition out there.

Re: The Upcoming Sonic Movie Sounds Utterly Crazy, According To Early Viewings

@KayFiOS LOL, at first when I saw that picture, my mind interpreted it as Drax wearing a trenchcoat for some reason... xD

But anyway, yeahh.... Hopefully the trailers get released soon so we can get this over with. If the movie is any good, then they're doing a piss-poor job with the marketing for it. What they really should've done was just not say anything about the movie, not release that "video poster teaser" at all, and release the full trailers when they were ready to be shown (preferably sooner than this, it seems like they're dragging their feet with the release of these trailers).

Better yet, they should've just made it a fully-animated film from the get-go. The filmmakers placed an automatic complication in their whole creative process by insisting that it be live-action-- something that literally NOBODY expects out of a Sonic the Hedgehog film.

Ill check it out. Already preordered two Genesis Mini's though, so its not a concern to me. By the way, i dont condone preordering two of these consoles. Im a huge Sega hardware fan, so i freaked when i found out this was first party. XD

I don't like gaming on my phone screen though, a full-size TV is my preference if I have access to it. I've tried installing Android-x86 as a dual-boot option on my hard drive, but their installer doesn't seem to work all that well for that. I can only really get it to run properly off my USB flash drives, and every time I shut it down and boot it back up all the settings are reverted.

@StevenG
I recently tried setting up a Sega Genesis emulator on my gaming PC, and..... you'd be surprised how many problems you'll actually run into with that.

Back in the day, Sega Genesis emulators were pretty good and were very impressive, like Gens and Genecyst, etc. Today though, many of those older emulators don't work so well in modern PC's anymore. I think I tried several different ones-- Dgen, Gens, Gens/RS7, Ages, Genesis Plus, etc. The one I found that ended up working best in Windows 10 was actually Kega Fusion 3.63, which (surprise, surprise) was made by one of the guys who now works at M2. Lol. Even that one though was hard to play on, because there was a LOT of input lag, even using a wired controller.

The Genesis Mini is perfect for people that don't want to deal with all the setup of a PC environment, but just want to be able to play their favorite games and relive their childhood.
