I didn't grow up with the N64 but instead the Wii, Xbox360, PS3 (yes, we had all three in my house growing up) and though I can't relate to the Zelda-aspect of childhood since I didn't get into Zelda until college, your story still resonates with me. My parents always surprising me with games every now and then. NSMB on the DS, WarioWare DIY, Little Big Planet 2. Those were times for sure!
Wow, I completely forgot about this game. Brings back a lot of memories sitting in the backseat with my brother playing this game... he always played as that annoying ***** cactus
@Dom_31 Honestly I feel like out of all the characters his voice actor is the most accurate, at least from how I imagined his voice to sound like when I was little, lol
Still the best in the entire franchise. The others had their charms, LM3 especially, but the original had atmosphere and aspects of horror not seen anywhere else in the series. So glad I got to play it as a kid, very very creepy and overall fun.

Majora's Mask has gotta be higher. Pacing-wise OoT I like more because it feels more grand but MM beats it by a long shot in any other sense.
