Who flipping cares?! It goes into the console and only comes out when I'm good and dinner with it. At that point, I'll either sell it for a reasonable price to a neighbor or friend who will definitely play it, I NEVER mark up my games, or it'll go into residence as part of my nostalgic collection.
I did everything, bought the game on day one, played the stupid Mario Kart on my phone for a month, and never got an email or notification. Too hear that even if I did I wouldn't be guaranteed the pin set STILL is absurd.
I want to hate Nintendo sooo bad for garbage consumer rewards schemes like this one, but those games man. Those games...
I really do think Nintendo should consider revisiting things that made the DS line of handhelds fun, while also considering the fact that services like Miiverse are very temporary and we're already a ways into the life of the Switch. I mean, Nintendo still hasn't implemented a trophy/achievement system, standard integrated voice chat, or a Metroid, Mario Golf, console specific Mario Kart game... I could go on and on with the things they NEED to do first before Miiverse

Re: Talking Point: Would You Like Miiverse To Return On Switch?
I would rather have the Street Pass feature return. GBA games. Some Metroid love. Maybe an original IP or new character.
