Hmm, well, this is a bit embarrassing. My source that tells me that games like ZombiU and Rayman Legends will be running at 1080p is the same source for this story (WiiUDaily). While I am 100% sure that MH3Ultimate is running at 1080p (upscaled or native, who knows at this point), I got the 'stats' on Rayman Legends and ZombiU from Wii U Daily.
However, a few people have informed me that that particular site has been known to present rumor as truth.
I would consider picking this up if the keyboard is confirmed to work with other games. As BenAV said, keyboard support in Animal Crossing would be great.
@BenAV Yeah, Nicalis is slacking on European releases. It took forever for VVVVVV to make its way to the other side of the pond. Heck, VVVVVV is JUST coming out in Australia today
@RetroGBHippie92 San Diego Comic Con is bigger, and has more stuff to do, but some people claim that it's drifting away from its roots, focusing more on TV and other media.
I haven't been myself, but my friend (who has been to both) says that New York Comic Con sticks to the geeky roots more than San Diego does. Also, if you go to New York Comic Con, you can also check out New York City, which is tons of fun.
What I want to see is some sort of cross-compatibility. That is, if I redeem $20 on the Wii U eShop, I should be able to use that on the 3DS eShop as well (and vice-versa). Obviously there is the obstacle of Nintendo not using some sort of centralized account for users, but maybe this could be overcome by linking a 3DS with a Wii U?
@sillygostly I think the problem there is that Rising Star Games is handling the European and Australian publishing for the second game. They don't have any publishing rights on the first game, so it involves more work on their part to publish the first one, which is a 2 year old DS game.
Maybe they think it won't be profitable? Granted, you can always import 999, since DS games are region free (even on 3DS).
For those wondering about the tech behind this block:
I believe it has to do with the integrated circuit (IC) where saves are stored. On normal 3DS cards, save files are stored on a save IC somewhere on the game's printed circuit board (PCB). Most flashcarts don't have a save IC.
So the update detects if the cart inside the 3DS has a save IC. If it doesn't, the cart is blocked. Hence, there is no software workaround.
Granted, flashcarts don't run 3DS software as of now; people were using these flashcarts to run GBA and DS games, but good on Nintendo for blocking them.
@A-Hungry-Banker Doesn't look like it unfortunately. This pre-order bonus is being handled by Aksys Games, and Rising Star Games is publishing in Europe...
Aksys might sell these watches on their website post-launch, so maybe you can pick one up then?
@KodyWB-98 Thanks! I would definitely consider checking out the Ace Attorney 123 HD release this Fall. It's only out for iOS devices, but it packages the first 3 games together with slightly better graphics. Coming from someone who owns all the games, it can be very hard to get physical copies of some of the games, especially if you want them in good condition.

Re: Newest Code of Princess Trailer is Packed With Features
@kitsunetails8
Funny you should say that, I was going to use that exact phrase in the story, but I decided against it, as it was a little too racy.
Re: Feature: Lessons From a Gaming Expo
@LordSEGA95 Nothing against you LordSEGA95, but I am compelled to post this video every time Missouri is mentioned.

Re: Wii U and 3DS Pre-Paid eShop Cards Spotted
@Wildvine53 Oh cool. I wasn't aware that universal/centralized eShop accounts were in the works.

Re: Events: Nintendo Life Is Coming to Eurogamer Expo 2012
Wish I could be there, but alas, I live in the USA. Specifically, Florida, where there are no good gaming conventions
Re: 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors Gets A Reprint
@MrWalkieTalkie
I've only found it on Aksys' online store (http://www.aksysgames.com/store/) for $19.99. I'll see if I can find out more.

Considering Wii U has partnered with Unity, this is a possibility.

Re: Nintendo Shares Two Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask Demo Puzzles
@LavaTwilight Yeah at first I thought the demo was broken, and I refreshed the page. Turns out, reading the instructions actually pays off...
Re: Nintendo Shares Two Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask Demo Puzzles
Loving the hair on Layton in the 2nd puzzle.
Re: Take a Look at Capcom's New Monster Hunter Merchandise
I love Capcom's overpriced merchandise. Anyone remember that Resident Evil 6 bundle with the leather jacket?
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th September 2012 (Europe)
I'm still holding out for a North American release of Picross E.

@Luigifan141 Thanks for noticing. I am new here
And yes, I'm excited as well.
Re: Platinum: Without Nintendo, There Would Be No Bayonetta 2
Love it how annoying gamers complain about it being a Wii U exclusive.
I would rather have a sequel on a new system, compared to not having a sequel at all.
