@personauser93 unless you modded the first 2 on PC, I think your memory might be weaker than you nostalgia 3 has the best of both 1 poor combat great scope RPG lots if varied locations , 2 great combat stripped down rpg boring locations , graphics dated asf on 1 and outfits and heroes on 2 are lacking .3 has solved a lot of that imo and can not wait to build my team .

@Timsworld2 how is it not obvious its story based dlc and it's cheap asf you even get months to decide if you even want it it's not a battle pass that you have to buy to play it is optional and it is giving team ninja time and funds to continue making it the biggest marvel roster ever .Honestly save the hate for surprise mechanics and free to play f##$ery . Or crap even the games media for ignoring it , but leave my game alone it's not mua3 's fault game production is becoming ethically challenged .

@graysoncharles sorry man but surprise mechanics and cheap all inclusive dlc are very different beasts , by all means hate grinding paywalls whales and microtransactions but this game represents none of those poor practices , dlc is not that not even close sir

@BornInNorway81 that's not the case at all its 20 us dollars for the pass , which gets you all dlc , it isn't just heroes either its locations and story , the reason they say buy all or nothing is simply so they only split the player base in to 2 instead of how many options, plus its optional altogether not needed to enjoy the game at all unless you have to play as f4

@hihelloitsme there is no logical reason it could not dock as normal probably about 5mins of programming to make the attached joy cons irrelevant while docked a kid friendly switch is destined I'm sorry to say.

So I have replied a bit bit not posted this game is fantastic and Alex's review is quite accurate I will add though that every part in this game levels up and this game could last years longer with online , I know this because all Japanese versions have it to supplement. The end game which levels you up to at least 90 the story finishes around level 40 for main character . This game is easily a ten with the optional online that all previous versions had! For me it's a Pokemon killer

@roy130390 Couldn't agree more dude I have the sequel all ready to go on my psp but the Japanese text is a huge barrier I personally don't have a clue why they stripped the online but I can assure everyone that mutilplayer is a blast we have Japanese psps just to play it !! Maybe they traded two player battles online for 6 locally ? But even then seems like it would work better for the Japanese market not the west .

@arcndmst wait until you finish the game you will want to play with others , I was wondering does the 3ds version let you Ai all the fights and can you change your party as you like I have only finished psp ?

@AlexOlney Hi Alex I think I can add some context having completed the psp game . It is not until you have finished the game that you crave battling with real people because the game was made with that in mind and the omission of the online easily takes a few points off the score !! It is a really big let down if you play this game you will quickly see the depth it's capable of because it was made to play with others and not just for kids !!
