Re: Sony: Wii U is No Threat, Says "Welcome to 2006, Nintendo"

Even Sony fans have to admit that Jack Tretton is the biggest slime ball ever. When did Nintendo ever say "Hey Sony, suck on this one! You're dead!"? Nintendo acknowledges Sony as a company that produces a competing console, and respects them for that, and those idiots at Sony don't show any respect! They ALWAYS try to one up Nintendo (no pun intended). They never do, but they'll say things that try to convince people they are.Well jokes on you Sony, because when you act like a whiny little kid, no on will take you seriously! Go back to making TVs. Jack Tretton, "People like you, are the reason God doesn't talk to us anymore!"

This generation could really use some more snowboard games. The new SSX game looks pretty cool but we could use another Tricky, another 1080, and of course, another Snowboard Kids!

While I'm super excited for this game, I'm a little mixed about the new ghost designs. On one hand, they look creepier and more sinister (which is somehow possible for a Mario title), which fits the dark atmosphere a lot better than the colorful, campy ghosts from the original. On the other hand, the colorful and campies were a lot more iconic and fit the fact that, despite being a little creepy, it was still a Mario title, and they fit into the Mario universe a lot more.

This'll sound weird, but I get the strange feeling that this will be the game to score a Nintendo fan a girlfriend. It looks like the perfect ice breaking game. And I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's just because Wii U happens to be super awesome.

Re: Play Lists Pilotwings for Wii, Pre-Orders Open Now

There's a lot of non-E3 stuff in that section too. I'm thinking they may have confused with the virtual console release of Pilot Wings on SNES. Or maybe they're finally putting Pilotwings 64 on V-con. Or maybe they didn't realize Pilotwings Resort was a 3DS title.

Hmm, wouldn't Pilotwings be cool to see on Wii U?

Re: Wii U Games Using Two New Controllers Being Considered

JimmyWhale

I honestly can't see the controllers costing any more than 80 bucks. Screen is small enough and resistive touch screens are cheaper. It would be a bad move to make these things over $100.

That being said, it probably won't matter to me anyway, because all my friends will want one and they can just bring their controller over.
