Did you bickering people ever think that the reason the Zelda series has been so tightly tied down and hardly changes is because of you fans? Just the possibility of this image causes such pointless arguing, I would not be surprised if they are afraid to change things because of psychotic people like you. If they do decide to be able to change Link's gender in Zelda U, you people can fight it and argue all you want, it will do NOTHING.

Anouma is the head of the Zelda series now, what he says is fact if Miyamoto might have said that back then that was then and this is now and what Anouma says is fact its as simple as that. @BossBattles That literately has nothing to do what we are all talking about. Superman and Superwoman are different characters. Link is NOT a character he is a persona of the player.

@bmjy1000 Thats not what we are talking about, Not Zelda playable but Link being gender optional. Zelda, Samus and Bayonetta are their own characters but Link is a persona of the player not a character as much as we want him to be.

@vamkar Zelda U will change the Zelda series. Gender option is completely possible. Since Link's creation he was intended to be the persona of the player not the main character. Also trying playing something other then Ocarina of Time for gods sake...

I really do hope you will be able to change Link's gender in Zelda U, Anouma always says he doesn't refer to Link as the Main character rather the player and Link is just a persona of the player, This could be a way that can finally be true. Admittedly Anouma has done a horrible job of not making Link the persona of the player rather then a character himself, They say Zelda U will be drastically different breaking away from tradition and convention of the series, whats more drastic then changing the main character?

@birthgirth When it comes to competitive players with Smash Bros if it doesn't have to do with the competitive scene they think its completely useless. that's why their not in charge of this game.

Why doesn't Nintendo just cut DS and Wii Support so developers will stop making stupid decisions like these?

If having a heck of alot more Trophies then Brawl just by itself isn't proof enough that the 3DS is perfectly capable of running Smash Bros then I don't know what is.

@ikki5 Maybe they barely do much for online because not everone has the mind set annoying shoving multiplayer in every single new game now a days. In a game like this co-op really wont matter in the long.

Really... Online co-op was such an incredible dire thing for people that its now ruined the hole game for them? @Jayvir Im just really sick and tired of people complain about any other controller that isn't the Gamecube Controller. It was nice when it lasted but its time we move on to better things already.

When the heck will people stop being so nit picky with controllers the GameCube controller has WAY too much blinding Nostalgia.

@Mega719 Overly expensive, easily breakable, and bad feeling third-party yes. This is a much better controller now.

Although i do hope there is more verity in terms of Nintendo series styles for them.

Yesterday was really bad, the finale's match was easily the most interesting part but so far today is looking much better.
