@Heavyarms55 As a person who started playing warframe for the past five months... Gotten to MR 12 (Would be higher if I didn't take a break) and had put in 1.6k hours into this game... Compared to the three years of playing blade and soul.
This game is in no way of a pay 2 win game/forces you to pay up. I do not feel as pressured to play warframe to catch up with the hardcore players like I was doing in bns or any other mmo I played before this one.
This game's endgame is literally fashion... and fashion (dyes, skins, glyphs) majority of it is gated behind the paywall. DE is defiantly a company that cares about their player base...
There was a story of DE literally took out a gacha feature because a player had spent over I think $500 on it. You can play the game at your own pace.
The only negative part I can say, (which doesn't bother me but may bother a lot of you are considering playing this game for the first time)... This game does not handhold your hand... After you are done with the first couple of tutorial missions. You are basically on your own at this point. But if you use your brain you should know what to do next.
(I do not recommend new players trying to rush the story content).
Speaking of quests, you can't do another story quest until you complete or abandon the current one you are on. And crafting things on the game are based on real-life hours.
The game is basically encouraging you to grind for other stuff to craft while you are waiting for your said craft items to finish crafting which may take to 1 minute, 12 or 24 hours or three days. Unless you are impatient that is when the platinum (real money currency) comes to play...
Same can be said for warframes which the community points out that it is not recommended that you spend money on a frame since you can farm them and anything else in the cash shop.
Basically TL:DR : Playing warframe is a mmo that you can play at your own pace. The "ninja plays for free" slogan is on par compared to most MMOs out there.
This game is worth your time and this is coming from someone who doesn't like Sci-fi like games. I hope you give it a chance and enjoy warframe.
@Kirgo Yes... Because complaining about others and then complaining about those who would gladly pay a higher price point if the value was much higher. Certainly makes much sense and will stop people from complaining right?
I mean... What's the matter you can't fork up $40 or $60 if a better and higher value pops up for this service? You paid $300 for the switch, surely you can pay that price point.
... Won't feel too good when and if a whale tells you to pay/"it's just $60 no big deal" for Nintendo's online if it does indeed turn out to go that route in the near future, now will it?
@Alantor28 Do you literally pay for this site? Are you Admin for this site? If not then stop being rude. You do not have the right to tell people to get out.
For those of you who are saying "Why did Nintendo lie to us / broken a promise" ? Remember that it was Iwata who had said this, not Tatsumi. Only thing I recall what Tatsumi and the rest of nintendo had promised was to finish up and launch the NX in Iwata's name. Everything else... Tatsumi. kind of cut off like the QoL project...
