It just says "a developer". Not even nintendo, so chances are it is not one of the biggest developers either, else it would not need to be quite so vague to try to drum up the hype. We're it Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, probably even Ubisoft, EA or Rockstar then they would have likely got even more hype if they mentioned the developer by name.
I suspect it will be something multiplatform, aimed mostly at the Western PC crowd with a large cult following where they might want people to focus more on the game itself than the studio... Overwatch 2?
Thats the sort of game that the game awards organisers cream themselves over, while they tend to not care much for Nintendo.
It's obviously Manaphy, but in the original DP you couldn't encounter it in the wild, sounds like this time you can if you take the pokemon it mentions and go to the place it says.
The fact is it Really SHOULDN'T be this bad. These games were originally released for the PS2, the Switch would have zero problem with that even with the automatically generated glow-up the games have been given. It should not tax the switch's capabilities at all and the fact that it does shows off how badly these things were remade.
I bought mine at launch when I was 21 years old. Loved the colour and don't really know where this "purple is for gurlz" thing is coming from. The controllers colour scheme was horrible though, great button layout but really clashing colours.
The review laments that a link to the past is not on the system, but to be fair to them that was 16 bit graphics from the SNES and the others are 8 bit from the NES or GB. I am guessing it would have just been too much of a faff to have the capability for a link to the past and not worth the extra time and price this would add to the project. £50 for a stand alone portable that runs 3 classic Nintendo games and 2 mini games on topos an attractivly priced gift, £60-70 with just one more game and perhaps a December or January release date missing out on some Christmas present shopping time and it won't find its way under as many trees.
I have no love for streaming, but surely SE could just sort this out quickly by adding more servers or however these things work. Sounds like they'll have to before they release their kingdom hearts streaming thing if they want anyone to actually buy it.
Does the old workaround of simply regesting another Nintendo account saying that you're American or Japanese or whatever when you do in order to access that country's e-shop not work anymore?
I would have just bipassed Sega and just talked Konami into popping a load of their NES and SNES games onto the Switch Online. Far greater hit-rate than Sega. Konami these days will do anything for money with minimum effort so would almost certainly been cheeper to deal with than Sega.
Lara Croft is certainly a possibility. Definitely more so than Master Cheif who has never been in a game on a Nintendo console. That has been a cast iron rule so far.

Really hoping that they don't announce in a few days that it's streaming.
