Re: The Game Awards Has A "World Premiere" It's Been Working On With A Dev For 2.5 Years, And One Guess Is Zelda

Gwiber

It just says "a developer". Not even nintendo, so chances are it is not one of the biggest developers either, else it would not need to be quite so vague to try to drum up the hype. We're it Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, probably even Ubisoft, EA or Rockstar then they would have likely got even more hype if they mentioned the developer by name.

I suspect it will be something multiplatform, aimed mostly at the Western PC crowd with a large cult following where they might want people to focus more on the game itself than the studio... Overwatch 2?

Thats the sort of game that the game awards organisers cream themselves over, while they tend to not care much for Nintendo.

Re: Hardware Review: Game & Watch: The Legend Of Zelda - A Link To Link's Past

Gwiber

The review laments that a link to the past is not on the system, but to be fair to them that was 16 bit graphics from the SNES and the others are 8 bit from the NES or GB. I am guessing it would have just been too much of a faff to have the capability for a link to the past and not worth the extra time and price this would add to the project. £50 for a stand alone portable that runs 3 classic Nintendo games and 2 mini games on topos an attractivly priced gift, £60-70 with just one more game and perhaps a December or January release date missing out on some Christmas present shopping time and it won't find its way under as many trees.
