I think it's funny that despite both of them having worked at Nintendo for so long, that they're as clueless as an average joe about why Nintendo does the things they do and what they're going to do next (and when). That's evident to me from watching them on their YouTube channel.
@RareFan Only thing that leaked months ago was that a new mainline FE was due to be announced soon, but that was all. We knew nothing about the release date or anything else until today's Direct.
I have yet to play this and also haven't played FFT. Really hoping this comes to Switch, I think it would really shine on the OLED model's screen. Have PS5 and a PC too, so bases are covered!
@Serpenterror I'm way late with this reply (just discovered Chained Echoes, so that's why), but Sea of Stars was delayed to 2023, unfortunately. Nobody will be playing that game this year.
@Ryu_Niiyama During the live stream at last year's 35th anniversary, it was said that there was an intention of doing 1 & 2 in HD-2D. Not until after 3 though and see how it's sales are. But I have no doubt it'll happen. You can wait and see for an official announcement of course, it's safer to do that. When they do announce it though (they will), remember my comment. I have been analyzing the industry for 35 years and have some insider information, although I'm not saying the where and who, here. I'm very rarely wrong with predictions and my sources are reliable.
@Ryu_Niiyama They are also remaking DQ 1& 2 in the HD-2D style, sometime after DQ3 HD-2D remake. This is known. I'm guessing if sales and reception are good for 3 (and the first two), we will probably get 4 - 6 in the future.
@Krull I think the announcements will be more of release dates (windows, probably year, season or quarter) for stuff like DQ3 HD-2D remake, a cinematic teaser of DQ 12, info about DQ 10 regarding it getting localized (big IF, doubt it'll happen) and dates for anything else that was announced last year.
They may make mention of something new like a new DQ Builders or something like that, but it'll be smaller stuff (that I won't be buying) if there's anything outside of my mentions above.
@Krambo42
Library isn't an option here, nor is it to borrow from a friend. NONE of my friends do any gaming, so it's either this or buy it and then regret spending $90 CAD (some games are way up over $100 here and in the past I have purchased multiple games that I didn't end up liking).
Not theft, Nintendo got their money and I no longer have the copy I downloaded. As for games I don''t decide to buy, I delete said game and I decide in the first hour or so if it'll be a purchase or not. Doesn't Steam give you 2 hours of play and you can still refund? Nintendo isn't Steam, but the same concept applies. Some games look good and review well, but the player who purchases might hate it once they try themselves. I've wasted more than $1000 easily by trusting reviews and listening to what others say about a game but am not trusting that anymore. Not everyone will see it your way either, and there will be some that do see it my way. And no, it has nothing to do with any right to play earlier than others. There are many people out there that have had a physical copy of the game for several days already. It's about opportunity and availability.
@Rika_Yoshitake lol not losers, I downloaded it as a way to get a taste of it to know if it's worth a purchase or not. Turns out that it is, so I have pre-ordered it now. Not all pirates are losers, to some it's merely a tool to gauge whether or not to buy. There are reviews of course, but that's not the same as playing the game for yourself!

Re: Where To Pre-Order The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom On Switch
Why do Canadians have to wait to pre-order this? Meanwhile it's available in the US and UK....

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3's World Is 'Five Times Larger' Than Predecessor's, Says Monolith Soft
@MichaelP Can only guess, but I'd say 2 - 3 times larger than 1 and about half the size of X.

Re: Review: Triangle Strategy - Square Enix Plots A Total Tactical Triumph
Can't wait to play this tomorrow! I have 2 Tactician's Editions arriving in the morning.
Still playing through the incredible Elden Ring, but will be switching back and forth between it and Triangle Strategy.
