@Urbanhispanic The best (and I've found the only good) way to beat the grim reaper in this game is having full life, using the Cross, and having the "III" icon for throwing three in rapid succession. With all of that, I BARELY beat him.
I was able to get in oh-so-briefly around 4:30 EST, and was stunned to find nothing worth buying. It's one thing to have a Christmas Crash, but it's totally another to screw up on NOT releasing SMB 3 in NA, the only region of its kind not to get it. Nintendo's in DEEP cow dung.
I come from the future, with a stern warning: IT'S STILL NOT STABLE! THE UPDATE IS BULL CRAP!! THE SYSTEM IS UNDERGOING A MELTDOWN!! FLEE, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!
EDIT: IT'S TOO LATE!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
As a totally opposite comment from my last one (and a help to my sanity), thank you Nintendolife for taking care in reviewing just about every eShop game imaginable, and rating them pretty fairly. You're the only ones out there focusing on all of them, without exception.
I have no patience for NOA anymore. First their ignorance for not taking the eShop seriously in releasing games, then the result of that with the Christmas Crash, and finally with no SMB 3 here, but everywhere else, I hope many will take the appropriate action, and boycott Nintendo.

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2014
For North America, the answer is quite simple. Super Mario Bros. 3, on the 3DS and Wii U eShops.

Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd January (North America)
BOYCOTT NINTENDO!!!
Re: Talking Point: New Year Resolutions for Nintendo
Super Mario Bros. 3 is still not in North America. Bring it here tomorrow. And PLEASE announce when eShop games will be released, for once.
Re: Nintendo Acknowledges Network Issues and Suggests Patience
Bad suggestion, Nintendo. Even with the eShop up and running, WE IN NORTH AMERICA HAVE NO PATIENCE.
Re: Nintendo Apologises for Nintendo Network Issues as Full eShop Services Return
@B3ND3R
If you mean my above reference to that game, no, not in North America. Thus, the joke.
Re: Nintendo Apologises for Nintendo Network Issues as Full eShop Services Return
S. M. B. 3: In case you're wondering, coming from Nintendo, it stands for Suck My Blocks (of memory), 3 times over.
Re: Review: 3D Space Harrier (3DS eShop)
This is one of the first 16-bit games ever, and a VERY important lost chapter in the history of video games.
Re: Review: 3D Galaxy Force II (3DS eShop)
Wanna know how awesome this game is? NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX BLOCKS OF MEMORY awesome.
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th December (North America)
@Monkeh
Man, we'd really love to trade up with you in NA.
