@aaronsullivan Thank you! Yes I think it will be a great co-op experience with your son. Controls are left right and you can change layers (foreground/background) + use special attacks. Sprites are also not auto-running anymore. It's optimized for controllers compared to Slayin 1 which was optimized for Touch controls

@DrDaisy Nintendolife misread our Tweet, Slayin 2 is not an endless action RPG and they just used our old 2013 App Store description of Slayin 1. Here's the official description for Slayin 2 which is going to be released in the coming days so you're properly informed:

"Slayin returns and this time you can bring a friend!

Engage endless hordes of monsters up close as a valiant knight, or shower them with arrows, bombs and spells using 8 unlockable heroes with completely different skillsets and playstyles.
Face the forces of darkness alone or team up with a friend in local co-op with a drop-in multiplayer feature.

Watch each others backs, hoard treasures, revive your fallen teammate and keep up your combos in your endless pursuit of fame and fortune.

Unravel ancient mysteries, defeat legendary bosses and discover hidden areas while you explore the world of Slayin 2.

  • 8 characters with individual weapons and playstyles (Knight, Archer, Sorceress and many more)
  • 2-Player local drop-in co-op
  • Story & Arcade Mode
  • Dozens of unique areas, each with its own boss
  • Soundtrack by Matt Creamer (Retro City Rampage)"

Re: Monster Boy Celebrates Its First Anniversary With A Half-Price Digital Sale

@Panopticon It's a complicated matter but I don't know why Monster World wasn't included in Genesis classics on Switch. As for Monster Boy vs. Wonder Boy: The 'Wonder Boy' trademark is indeed complicated to obtain nowadays because Sega initially didn't extend the worldwide registration and a Korean company was also involved. We chose to reduce the risk by picking a different name and we liked it anyway. Still, Monster Boy is content-wise an official sequel to the Monster World series of games.

Re: Review: Bobby Carrot Forever (WiiWare)

Future777

@Omega: The game has 6 chapters (=1 world)
Each chapter has 12 levels, which is a total of 72 levels per World
You have to complete world 1 to see the ending. The additional DLC offers 5 more worlds for 500 Wii Points each. Each DLC for 500 Wii Points contains 72 more levels. The total playtime of the game including all DLC´s is 90 hours... WoOT?!

Re: Bobby Carrot Forever Finally Ready for Release Next Week

Future777

@Henmii: When the game released on iPhone it was $7.99. The game is not available for iPad and the current price on the App Store is $3.99. Furthermore I wouldn´t compare App Store pricing with Nintendo Releases as it´s a totally different story to release a game on the App Store compared to get a game ready and approved for the WiiWare service. Not even talking about the rev. share, user-count, etc.
