Re: Poll: Hasn't Nintendo Always Been An 'Entertainment' Company?

I’d say it has but in the time I’ve known of them they have focused on video games. But they were producing Hanafuda cards years before this. So imo they have always aimed at the idea of entertainment and even the name nes and snes were classed as entertainment systems. All they are doing is expanding on what they have always aimed to be.

Re: Metal Gear Solid 2 And 3 Will Have Lower Frame Rates On Switch, Konami Confirms

Have to say it’s disappointing but if you look a videos the difference will be negligible. I own a ps5 and switch but favour carts over disc. It’s personal preference, just buy for a different console if you’re not happy. At the end of the day switch owners complaining about the known performance issues of the switch…. 30fps imo which may be very unpopular isn’t all that bad. I’m sure the games will be a hoot regardless. One thing I will say to those that constantly moan about the switch which I’m sure we are all a little disheartened but nevertheless it proves worthy.

Re: Talking Point: The Games We Got Rid Of - What Were We Thinking?

Oh the regret… I’ve had 4 copies of suikoden 1 in my childhood and sold every single one as I never had money but it was and is still one of my favourite game of all time. And now I am lucky enough as many to be able to add this to the ever growing collection of switch game I have that have been rereleased from my childhood. Another game would be star ocean 2. People can say all they like about switch being outperformed by other consoles but its library of classics is just amazing. I’m hoping for skies of Arcadia and twins snakes one day but who knows. 5 years ago we said we would never get suikoden or goldeneye, but guess what they are here. Vandal hearts please Konami!
