@NEStalgia Me too! Way more fun than I was expecting. I've always loved fighting games, and this one is so original and fun I can't wait for the real thing. I found I was only any good with the big mummy guy, though. Really wanted to like Helix, but I sucked with him, lol.

Re: 3DS Reigns in the U.S. for Another Month as Pikmin 3 Sneaks Into the Top 10

@element187 Very true, indeed. It would be extremely rare that in any particular household the Wii U would be the sole console in use. Very likely the Wii U was purchased to bolster the family's gaming experience rather than being its only source. So when a publisher delays the Wii U title, handcuffs it with less gameplay options or simply makes it glitchy, how can you blame people for buying the other versions? Why won't these companies give the Wii U at least a fair shot? Guaranteed on a personal level, I would choose the Wii U version over any others based solely on the added gameplay features granted by the use of the Gamepad, if a developer would be smart enough to utilize this amazing revolutionary piece of gaming hardware. Why do developers continuously shoot themselves straight in the foot?!

Re: Talking Point: With Calls for Nintendo to Follow the Crowd, It Faces a Dilemma

"Nintendo's exclusives aren't moody, narrative driven action adventures with first or third-person shooting; they're cornea-burning experiences packed with colour, or party games, or fitness programmes. Give up that identity, and would Nintendo simply lose its only edge?" Could not have been said any better. Unfortunately, the mass public does tend to judge Nintendo consoles far too harshly. "They're underpowered, too cartoony, blah, blah, blah..." The Wii U is revolutionary gaming thinking. The gamepad is a must and why Sony and Microsoft have not emulated it yet, a they do everything Nintendo revolutionizes, is a saving grace for Nintendo. Even if some are blind to Nintendo's forward thinking, I personally believe that their outside-of-the-box gaming design is not only the best course of action for the company, but also for the gaming industry as a whole. I would love to see some Mario, DK or F-Zero on my iPhone, though...
