TCG Live will replace TGCO shortly, they haven't given a specific date as to when it will go live, but they are currently sunsetting TGCO. Your current TGCO assets will transfer over to the new platform, baring some restrictions with card quantities, deck lists, cosmetic items, and certain older packs. You can check the details out on the support website if you search 'Pokemon TCGO Sunsetting' in your search engine of choice.
Dreading this finally coming out, maybe it will be great, but I doubt it will be as generous as TGCO in that you don't have to spend a dime in TGCO you don't want to. Also not too keen on your unopened packs not transferring. I've got a few more card boxes to open and redeem before the transition. I hope the cosmetic items for the card boxes and sleeves stick around.
I'd assume everyone, like me is just trying to pick up games while they still can. I wish Home allowed more connectivity, and there was a main game where we could use the whole pokedex worth of pokemon. If I can't use my Mons in a game I ain't sending them to die in Home. When the Bank breaks down eventually, I'll probably just transfer them back to the physical carts. Though they arent safe there either, I've already had Alpha Sapphire crap out on me, I don't want to think about all the event exclusive pokemon I lost in there.
Longtime Lurker here, made an account just for this! Here are some games I'm snapping up:
Yokai Watch Series (Physical copies are pricey) Detective Pikachu Dementium Remastered Attack of the Friday Monsters Denpa Men Series Prof. Layton vs Pheonix Wright (+ full series, this one is particularly pricey) Moon Chronicles HarmoKnight Rhythm Thief Little Battlers Experience (I don't think I've seen anyone talk about this one, I haven't played it but the premise seems interesting at least) Picross 3d round 2 Of course all of the Pokemon Virtual Console Games
I bought a big SD card expansion a long time ago and never got around to filling it up. Gonna fill it to the brim! The DS/3DS was my favorite game console growing up. There were so many great titles to play, and a lot i've been sleeping on apparently! Definitely reading the comments section and taking notes!
