Re: Talking Point: What Was Your First Legend Of Zelda Game?

DrJohnny5

The first Zelda game I played was the first one. I didn't own it at the time so I didn't beat it. I might have played the 2nd one back then but I really don't remember playing it. The first Zelda I beat was Ocarina of Time followed by A Link to the Past. I actually played both of them at the same time. My brother and I would trade back and forth playing them both.

Nightfire is really good. One of the best licensed games period. The World is not Enough on the 64 is seriously slept on. It was a glimpse of what next gen games would be like. Also 007 on the gameboy is awesome. Obviously Goldeneye is amazing.

Re: Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Reimagines The Classics On Switch

I am super excited for this. Advance Wars was the main reason I got a GBA when I was a kid. I saw the screen shots in a magazine that had a list of games that were coming out with this in there. So when I bought my GBA this was the first game I got. Dual Strike is my all time favorite game. But I got into playing turn based strategy games originally from my obsession with call Iron Storm on the Sega Saturn.

Re: Soapbox: The Nintendo Switch Was My Companion As I Travelled The World

I have always been a fan of Nintendo Handhelds. They have been with me pretty much all of my life. Since I opened my first Gameboy with Tetris and Super Mario Land 2 till now. The Switch has been there for me the last 4 years just like the others. That being said the Switch has a special place for me. It has revitalized my love of gaming. I had a few years where I had dropped off some when it came to gaming. But the Switch brought me back. I have played mine for thousands of hours. From Grade school to Highschool to College and adult life. From moving to New England from the Midwest to moving back. I love it. There and back again a Nintendo tale. This was a beautiful read.
