Listen dumb-dumb, if you read the what typed above properly, then you'd know i stated i haven't bought a Nintendo system for 15 years.
I can play/emulate every Nintendo system dating back to the NES on my PC and play Switch games at higher resolutions and frame rates than your beloved Switch.

The reality is, many people, myself included, won't buy a Nintendo system just to play Nintendo content. If they put their games on a device i already own i.e PC/Mobile, then i'll consider buying their games. Sony and MS figured this out and release their games on PC.
