@GrailUK I have a couple of those collections (1 and 3) for the original Xbox. Still dust them off every few months. The fact that Road Blasters, San Francisco Rush, Rush 2049, and Hydro Thunder haven't been rereleased or remastered since then is a real shame.
Would love for some outlet to do a preview of Blast soon. Really curious about the performance, that's the only thing holding me back from preordering.
@Yanina @Tandy255 I know it's not the real thing, but I've enjoyed my time with Cubixx on the Switch while waiting for the arcade original. Apparently it's an update of an old PSP Qix clone. Giant Bomb took a look at it eight years ago: https://youtu.be/saDQdl1r3jU
This goes on sale quite frequently, so I picked it up for $3. It's not bad for the price, just not my type of game. Action is repetitive, kind of like a beat 'em up. RPG elements are overstated, I think. The graphical style, narrator and storytelling are highlights. I don't feel compelled to pick it up again after beating it.
Nice little brick-breaker game with a lot of different game types. Some are much better than others, so the experience is pretty mixed. Move the paddle in any direction with the touch screen. Pick it up for cheap if you like this type of game.
Terrific mix of match three puzzler and platformer. Got this based on some random hidden gems suggestion and it wound up being one of my favorite DS games. Only downside is that it seems to have some nasty difficulty spikes.
Like the Age of Empires series on PC, but RTS-lite. Basically perfect for the DS, but the game does feel a little shallow. Lost interest after about 5-10 hours. Good for short plane trips.
Gameplay videos make this look more interesting than it really is. It's like a mix of Dig Dug and its sequel, which seems like a good idea but for me it was overcomplicated and not fun.

Re: Konami Supposedly Has Multiple Unannounced Projects In The Works
Bomberman collection! Bomberman collection! Bomberman collection!
Re: Review: Taito Milestones - An Oddly Meagre Collection Of Coin-Op Classics
@bransby @ralphdibny you may want to check out Cubixx in the eShop. Sort of an evolution of Qix that I've enjoyed.
Re: Mini Review: Beast Breaker - A 'Pinball RPG' With Surprising Depth
@DoubleDate, I agree. From video clips I've seen, it looks like it plays more like a billiards/pool game.

Re: Cruis'n Blast Brings Classic Arcade Racing To Switch This September
Really hope this sells well. Raw Thrills' other racers Dirty Drivin' and H2Overdrive deserve console ports too!
Re: No, Konami Isn't Exiting The Video Game Business
I'd personally love a good bomberman game, or a bomberman collection, actually.

Re: Cubixx
Like Qix on steroids. I've really enjoyed playing this in short sessions.

Re: Super Dodgeball Brawlers
Got this thinking it would be a continuation of the NES game, and it is, but it's not as interesting or fun as I remembered the original being.

Re: Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
Fantastic game, and I'd say one of the best on the DS. Very addictive mix of puzzle, strategy, and light RPG. Kept me hooked.
