@Retro_Player_77 Monster Hunter World is Monster Hunter 5. It just doesn't have a 5 in the name so people wouldn't be intimidated trying to jump into the series. Think Mortal Kombat 9 just being called "Mortal Kombat." They may revisit the name convention and make "World" it's own series, but for the moment it is the 5th main generation.
I am quite excited for this one though, it'll be fun to get back to the more stylized look and feel the series has had.
