@Phornix I was more so comparing it to GTA in the sense that it's only had one game in ten years, and that game (in Zelda's case), isn't very good or challenging. Whether a game is popular or not has no bearing at all on its actual quality. Millions of people force their way through COD games that release either banal, broken, or monetized to hell. I wouldn't call them a great measure of value or quality, and yet there they are, selling tens of millions. Like FIFA, too.

Whether you and others like you want to hear it or not, Zelda had a formula for 25 years, then it smashed that formula up to make a game that was more a physics engine than an actual, challenging experience. It had no worthwhile content inside, it had a stupid durability system, and there was no reason to actually go out and explore because, save for the few challenges it had (mostly one repeat), the world was barren and devoid of real substance. It's 4 'dungeons' were a joke, and it's shrines reminded me of Portal puzzles more than Zelda side-dungeons.

You can't not expect those who'd spent a ton of time and money on the series up to the point of its release to be angry at how shallow the whole thing was, with regards to the established formula.

The Legend of Zelda I knew and grew up with died with Skyward Sword. I don't know what the hell this abomination that now shambles before me is, but I'm not buying it at all.

Regardless of whether this price is Amazon gauging, it really doesn't matter. We've had one """Zelda""" game since 2011 (using the name very loosely), and it really wasn't a very good Zelda game. Looking at series like GTA as well, I feel practically spoiled for great videogames compared to this generation of kids.
