I really like skyrim (I've clocked over 110 hours on this anniversary version already) but a few problems that could've been put in the game include a full 60fps, the lag (both before patches have input a almost 60fps indoors and caves etc only and lag has improve but still experience it) and a brightness setting. Some areas are too dark. Overall it's still a great game to play and still many new things to find across the vast open world but yeah some little things that could've got improved or fixed make the game a 8/10.
Some good bits in the update (like resetti and the creation of more DIY items when making them) but considering the switch 2 is more powerful nintendo could've added more stuff that was exclusive to switch 2. 60fps would've been nice, a option to rename your island once (with bells), maybe even had a option when starting a new game to have a few more islands for switch 2 version. Also shame some of the items found on harvs island can't be on game. New flooring and a easier way to Terraform cliffs and water (bit like moving items in home) would have been great to see. For this I only give it a 6.5 out of 10
Mine came today - played the first 2 hours (chapter 3 start saved before Cloud enters 7th Heaven) looks and plays fantastically well. Yes there's the slight fuzzyness on his hair and a few other textures and the game isn't at least 45fps but I had to pinch myself in knowing this is a switch 2 game. A lot of switch 1 ports for example were really poor quality so seeing this game considering it's size is a job well done by Square Enix. A 9/10 for me (if it had have been 45fps or higher it would get a full 10/10) solid game.
I like TOTK a lot but some of the reasons why it doesn't get a full 10 out of 10 (I voted 8) is because the three areas are a bit too overwhelming at times (I really like the sky islands though). I think the enemies are a lot tougher so it's actually harder in some places to search and explore. Only really like two of the new abilities (ascend/fuse) ultra hand is only fun for koroks or helping out Addison with his Mr president signs and recall don't really use it much. I kinda wished the game was just the sky and land as it would've felt a lot easier and comfortable playing. Still enjoying it but feel I have to get more shrines done to get more hearts.
