Re: Review: Mario's Picross (Game Boy)

CapedGodot

This game is totally worth 100 Club Nintendo coins. I've loved Picross since I discovered it a few months ago, and this is no exception. However, I am rather unimpressed with the soundtrack.

Re: Rumour: Donkey Kong 3D Swinging Into View

This is just speculation. Similar games will exist at some point, but EBGames hasn't had any special insider information. Considering the image used to make the box art is something from the release of DKCR, and can be found by a simple Google image search of "Donkey Kong and Diddy", I find this to be pure speculation.

Re: Metroid

This will finally give me the motivation to finish memorizing this game. I'm kinda excited.

Re: Review: Mario Party 9 (Wii)

That's very unfortunate. I told myself a while ago that if it turned out to not have the option of Classic play (meaning everyone moving individually), that I wouldn't be buying it, and I'll stick to that. Oh well.

Re: Mario and Zelda Sheet Music Now Available

CapedGodot

I find that I do better playing Ocarina by ear than by sheet music. It only works if you have a good sense of pitch like I have.
Also, this music is already everywhere on the internet. I find these to be pretty much superfluous.

Re: Review: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Wii)

How is the glitchyness reletive to 1-4? I remember that I began to loathe 1-4 because of its many game-breaking glitches (two of which prevented me from getting 100% on separate occasions). After near 100%ing 1-4 twice, but being prevented both times, I got kinda pissed. Is that fixed at all here?

Re: Turn Your Retro Cartridges Into ROMS, Legally

CapedGodot

I disagree, primeris. While yes, you buy a license to play the game, that doesn't mean you can treat the cartridge/disk however you want, and assume that Nintendo will provide you with a replacement. If you break your games, it's your own fault, and in no way can Nintendo be held liable. If you take a glance inside the instruction booklet of most games, there is a legal statement which is as follows:
"Copying of any Nintendo game is illegal and is strictly prohibited by domestic and international intellectual property laws. 'Back-up' or 'archival' copies are not authorized and are not necessary to protect your software. Violators will be prosecuted."
