Re: Pokemon Blasting to Europe on 2nd December

Wait....., that's the same as MK7. I'm gonna need to save my money if I want to get Sonic Generations, SM3DL, MK7 and Rumble Blast for 2011, let alone what 2012 has in store now! (Not forgetting the possibility of MHTG!)

I still haven't finished Streetpass Quest anyway (I am in the last room) and I've finished 2 puzzles out of...... I think it's four? I don't need a new update, what I need is more Streetpasses than one since March 25th.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Readying Big Announcement Next Month

Blaze

@Highwinter I agree with you completely. As with the big announcement, I think it's probably Metroid for the 3DS, but I think it will definitely be 3DS related. I hope they announce some great new games for 2012 and 2013 seeing as later this year we have Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7, Early next year Kid Icarus Uprising, and then throughout 2012 Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario and Animal Crossing, (I'm no fan of Animal Crossing, but I suppose it's a big game) as well as quite a few 3rd party games like Cave Story 3D, Crush 3D, Bit Trip whatever it is, That weirdly named FF Rhythm game, Metal Gear, Sonic Generations, Resi Evil Revelations and any more that I've missed. But as yet there's nothing for 2013 and beyond, and the 3DS will probably be the current handheld until 2016.

Re: Talking Point: What If Nintendo Became a Third Party?

I really wish people would stop going on about the fact that Nintendo are going to die. I mean, I know this NL article is fair, but loads of other sites similar to this are saying 'Nintendo are falling, they HAVE to develop for IOS or face closure'... That is absolute @#x*!!! The 3DS Sales have received a massive boost, hopefully Nintendo will be able to stop Sony & Microsoft copying everything Nintendo do with their consoles as happened with the Wii, and therefore Wii U will e a singular experience you can only receive from Nintendo.

Re: First Photo of New Look Wii Console

Blaze

They're making it look even more like a Wii U, now Nintendo really are gong to lose more customers because of people thinking, 'I have a Wii that lies on it's side exactly like Wii U, so I don't need it.'

Re: Talking Point: The Great Nintendo 3DS Price Drop Debate

Blaze

@EIReminator I'd love a World Ends With You Sequel, but I don't think it would help sell the system as although in my opinion it is probably the best DS game it's not a system seller like Mario or Zelda.

Back on topic, I think the 3DS didn't work due to lack of software and unfortunately it's design which largely resembles a DS Lite. I also think Nintendo should not rely entirely on 3rd party software at launch and have at least one system selling game at the ready, just in case things get ugly, which in the 3DS' case happened quite early on.

Looking more into solutions, Nintendo has to get more software out, and to do this they need to expand the company. I'm quite sure (I may be wrong!) that Nintendo have around $10 Billion from the sales success of tne DS which they could spend on pretty much anything they want. Use this to expand the company and buy some Company's Nintendo are friendly with; possibly like Jupiter, Ready at Dawn, and Creatures, and buy a share in Square Enix & Ubisoft. They don't necessarily need to be these Company's, but my point is Nintendo need to expand their Company. This will increase Software production which is important to the successfully of all Consoles. Nintendo are far smaller than Sony, and Microsoft, and they need to begin to realise that despite the brilliance of their games, they can get more of this great software flowing with more employees, and therefore more people to work on many seperate games at one time. (Did you get all that, and yes, I just typed this from my 3DS!)

Re: UK 3DS High Street Price Drop Round-Up

@Savino 531Brazilian Currency is £201, and 100Brazilian Currency is £38. Your not too badly screwed, seeing as our 3DS Games cost £40 and MOST people payed £200ish for the Console before this price drop, although I managed to get mine for £190.

Re: UK 3DS High Street Price Drop Round-Up

Blaze

@rdvid 159 Euros is still about £135 so your not being too badly screwed. The worst conversions made by Nintendo are the ones from dollars, if the US get the 3DS on Launch Day for $250 that = £153.45, so why are we paying £230, or about £190 if we find a good deal???

Re: UK 3DS High Street Price Drop Round-Up

Blaze

I paid £187 for it on launch, seeing it £72 cheaper isn't helping my current angry state. I suppose the NES and GBA games are worth about £30 to me, so I suppose that's only putting me about £40 out of pocket. he thing is I wouldn't have minded this if there had been some good software on the 3DS up until now, but I would have missed out on pretty much nothing buying today! Most of my 400 hours 3DS Play Time has been spent on Golden Sun, Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story, and The World Ends With You so I really feel like the once definite Wii U Launch Day Buy is now becoming more of a, Hmmmmm, I'll see.

Re: UK 3DS Price War Heats Up as Tesco Drops Console to £115

Blaze

I paid £182 at launch and used my £15 Amazon voucher which meant in total I only payed £167. When it was cut to £140 I didn't mind massively, after all I was getting free games! £115??? This isn't the lowest it will go, I can see it going to £105 sometime tomorrow. This really. is ludicrous, especially seeing how so many Cheats are paying this price and getting the ambassador games. I have now unforgiven Nintendo, this just makes me feel so angry.
