Re: Impressions: The Best Buy "Nintendo Experience"

BlackStar9000

@dumedum not if you are a soldier on duty in korea like me.....i really wanted to take my boys to a spot and go, so giving us demos of these games at home would be a gamechanger, just think about it, no reason we shouldnt get these demos early on, might convince new or on th fence Wii U owners to hold on and not sell their consoles for a ps4 or a X1....seriously.

Re: Iwata: We Are To Blame For Poor Wii U Sales

BlackStar9000

@doctor_doak wrong Sir, you cant buy certain games at retail (like skyrim) and add them to steam for improved services, always up to date, the steam workshop ( SOOOOO much fun, and guess what? I can PLAY OFFLINE MODE AS LONG AS I WANT!!! Much better than the X1.

Re: Iwata: We Are To Blame For Poor Wii U Sales

BlackStar9000

@Kamalisk smart dude, but if Nintendo REALLY wanted to sell the Wii U then they would Make Two Bundles with Slightly higher storage and a price cut of 50$ and one bundle would be Super Mario 3d World and the other Wind Waker HD, both should already have the Digital Version of Nintendo land Installed, This would be a perfect black friday deal and would boost Wii U sales Significantly, but hey im just a soldier who loves Nintendo, what do I know?

Re: Iwata: Nintendo Searching For A "Different Expression" To Describe The GamePad's Experience

BlackStar9000

@rjejr just say ASSymmetric, see how easy that was? Now Nintendo, you are taking hits and being FORCED TO CHANGE! this is very good, because I love my Wii U and Nintendo Land. but dammit if there are more ppl who know about the X1 than the Wii U and the fact its not just a new game controller, Wheres the Marketing? Why cant I play Nintendo land or NSMB U online with my kids? One day Nintendo, Im still waiting for that day when you finally "get it".

Re: First Impressions: Bayonetta 2

BlackStar9000

@Sensei_Sendai you already have a Next Gen Console, its called Wii U, if we treat it as next gen and respect it for what it is then it wont matter that it cant do what a PC or PS4 can do.

Re: Talking Point: E3 Exposed the Strains of Nintendo's Development Workload

BlackStar9000

@Dev over 34 million well....but it had a way bigger install base too, the wii was still flying off shelves back then and hard to find, the Wii U is a console that has to do a complete turnaround to make it, but, i kinda hope the games do well but the system flops...why you ask? I love my wii U, but no one wants one and even if it succeeds it wil still miss out on a ton of third party support as it wont be able to handle a lot of these new gen games, they will be scaled back ports with little support, ie online modes and DLC will be severly lacking, so I want nintendo to start working on their next console now and it will need to be a powerhouse, seriously, Nintendo is starting to act like Apple and its bad business, oh and it wouldnt hurt to reach into those deep deep pockets and HIRE SOME MORE DAMN SOFTWARE DEVS and TEAMS!!! They should buy out Platinum before EA, Sony or Microshaft gets smart on em.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Will Have A Single Player Campaign

BlackStar9000

They should add a character based on community votes (characters that wont be a problem to add) so they should make a list of characters they are thinking of adding and let Nintendo Club members vote for who they want, even if its just one that makes all the difference to me.

Re: Retro Chose Donkey Kong Over Metroid as Its First Wii U Title

BlackStar9000

Its just a stop gap game until the next big release, Nintendo has to pump out games since third party support is lame, so expect more of this in between the big titles, its actually a smart move and I bet they are saving some of the other titles in works for the next E3 or a big nintendo direct like what happened in january

Re: Nintendo Reveal Why Its 3D Mario Title Isn't Super Mario Galaxy 3

BlackStar9000

@Bobhobob it would sell more if it had ONLINE multiplayer, dammit Nintendo, I WANT ONLINE MULTIPLAYER IN A MARIO GAME FOR ONCE!! Not mario kart or some spin off, in a regular title, just imagine how fun it would be in Nintendo land.....DLC....LEARN ABOUT IT!! I can only play mario kart with my kids while im aways and that just aint enough for us.....

Well i guess since the Wii U has been a big risk and games have been slow for them it only makes since to make titles that are easier to develop, so expect more of this and more HD re-releases in the future, I think Nintendo is doing this as a Stop gap so that ppl wont wait as long between the AAA titles come, I think its good, but dammit i would kill for some online multiplayer, LOCAL IS DEAD!!!

Re: Mighty Switch Force! 2

BlackStar9000

Just buy the freaking game and support the devs hard work, we both know its worth whatever price its launched at, and most likely they will add some free DLC like they did the last game adding to the experience without adding to your expenses...

Re: Shin'en: Wii U Has Enough Power For Years To Come, GPU Is "Several Generations" Ahead of Current Consoles

BlackStar9000

@PokeTune Plenty of third parties have experience with nintendo architecture, as they have all made poor crappy ports and cash grab games that fail to make sales on their system, just look a the 3ds, how many 3rd party games are selling well besides Monster hunter 3? not many outside the indie community, and i blame the devs for being lazy and not making a nintendo Unreal type engine to work with, of course, nintendo should also develop a top of the line engine by paying third parties to make one for them, that would help alot.

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo Virtual Boy

BlackStar9000

@ikki5 sad but awesome true story, back in late 98 i lived in a shelter home for a while, my birthday passed while i was their (turned 13) and we had a locked toy room which was opened only to give gifts to the children who lived there. I looked all around the overly cutesy plush doll filled room with girly knickknacks everywhere, after a few minutes i give up and decided to leave with no present, but I try one more look high up on the shelves in a dusty corner out of my reach and I see a red/back box, i ask the storage man to bring it down and immediately recongnize what is was as I had seen it at K-mart on display. It was a completely untouched Virtual Boy console and the price tag on it was 99$, must have been donated while on sale due to non sales, something i didnt know or care about at the time. I was shocked, pumped and excited all at the same time, I had to ask the man again if everything in the room was free and he said yes. So i took the box, went to my tiny room and set the system up, it came with 6 AA batteries and a copy of mario tennis, a really awesome game btw. I remember playing it til i could show my mother, first thing she said was about how the colors were bad and it made her eyes sore, she also couldnt believe i got it for free from the shelter home staff, this also was only a few months after my big bro was shot and killed so if was really good for me at the time, I never once had a headache and couldnt wait to get more games in the future, only to find out it was discontinued. I still have it today and every so often pull it out and show the other game i brought for it, teleroboxer, a really epic version of mike tysons punch out using robots to box that puts you in mind of the movie Real Steel, I still think they owe nintendo royalties for that. One of my fondest memories ever.
