I mean theyve done it before, albeit late in a consoles life, the Wii and GBA Micro being the best examples.

Being a docked only player the only thing that frustrates me is Nintendo could save me plenty of money and real estate by selling me a Switch without a capacitve touchscreen, joycons and dock.
Screen quality is irrelevant to me.

The yellowing in plastic products of that era was down to a fire retardant chemical within many electrical appliances and childrens toys which often aged white plastic visibly more over a course of time.
I do believe they stopped using it eventually?
One was Brominated flame retardant (BFR) Chemicals like polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) another was Antimony trioxide, another common flame retardant additive.
Ofcourse there are other reasons a plastic may yellow, but many will find their products yellowed even when not expose to sunlight etc. This is why.

Its been fixing to drop out of the top 10 since its 2nd week on sale.
Its just fortunate that other game sales have maintained a humble figure.

This is also why it makes zero sense for Sony or MS to buy SquareEnix.
