Re: Possibility of SNES Remix and Other Remix Titles Depends on Fan Support

BassLostie

I want REMIX of all the consoles!!! But.... to be realistic, I think the best shot is to aim for SNES Remix. SNES Games are the most fun, creative and innovative, and they were in the most popular and best times of Nintendo's history. Just imagine challenges (with the "remastered" graphic style they've been using in NES Remix) for Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island, F-Zero, Super Metroid, Super Mario RPG, Kirby's Dream Course, and...... SUPER MARIO KART!

Or maybe even some SNES third-party great titles like, Chrono Trigger, Contra 3, Aerofighters, Killer Instinct, Mortal Combat, or some of the soccer games.

I think fans will be heard by Mr. Hayashida.

Re: Video: Capcom Unleashes a New Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Trailer

If you haven't played Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U, go get it now. It's an awesome game. It was totally the game of 2013 for me, and I gotta admit, it was better than Super Mario 3D World (and I am a huge Mario fan). I know you can't really compare those two games, but.... If i had to pick the best Wii U game of 2013, it has to be MH3U.

If you like RPG's get Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, you won't regret it.

HYPE for MH4 in 2015!!!

Re: Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida Highlights Brushes With Miiverse Law

I've gotten warned twice by Miiverse admins.

First time, I posted a screenshot from the credits from New Super Mario Bros. U, where appeared the names of Iwata and Miyamoto, and with that I simply wrote "Iwata and Miyamoto", with a happy face.

They blocked that message.... LOL

The second time, I was writing in a friend's post, and we where making jokes. I wrote something like "hey, I know your NNID password" ...... and they erased my message right away.

So, apparently, you can't write the word "password" on Miiverse.

Both warnings were kinda funny, though.... xDD

Re: Super Smash Bros. Direct Will Bring the Hype on 8th April

HYPE!!!

I've been thinking that maybe Sakurai and his team have already finished the game. It's just that this is Smash Bros. and needs to be perfect. In February's Direct they announced Smash Bros. for "2014". We'll probably getting the release month (I'm betting for November 2014)

Re: Mario Kart 8 Producer Explains The Absence of a Custom Track Creator

BassLostie

I don't think that a track editor would be a good idea. I think that the tracks created by the developers (specially since Mario Kart Wii) are very special tracks and have lots of details and arrangements so we players can enjoy playing them over and over again.

The amount of detail in MK8 tracks is just mind blowing. Just look at the video analysis from GameXplain and you'll understand. If they decided to put a level editor, it would be limited because as we are not developers, we don't know the limitations of the hardware capabilities, and that may result in laggy gameplay or something that may affect the gameplay experience.

I think Hideki Konno and his team have done a great job on the track desing, and they need to keep that work. Maybe DLC tracks can enhance the experience...... if you want more tracks for Mario Kart 8.

Re: Poll: Have Your Say On The GamePad's Role With The Wii U Virtual Console

BassLostie

I think the gamepad allows you to experience a different way in gaming options. If you've played Nintendo Land with friends, then you know what I'm talking about.

Also, there are other games where you actually use the Camera, the Mic, the gyroscope and the touchscreen. The problem is, Nintendo Land is the only game that uses the Gamepad's features at .... I'd say 85%.

Re: Review: Super Mario Kart (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

BassLostie

I know we all here are huge Nintendo fans, but I got to say that I am really amazed of how everybody is so enthusiastic and passionate about this game. This is truly what makes Nintendo so special. Super Mario Kart was released more than 20 years ago, and still we're all very excited to play this game on the Wii U.

Got to say... Nintendo is awesome.

Re: Feature: Looking at the 3DS Revolution on its Third Birthday

BassLostie

Who else got a Wii U first and a 3DS after? Is just me? LOL

I got my Zelda 3DS XL (the one in the photo) the day of the launch of A Link Between Worlds. I'm loving my 3DS since then. Playing Mario Kart 7 online is great, and the features on Pokemon X/Y keep me playing all the time. I'm still lacking more great titles like Luigi's Mansion DM, Super Mario 3D Land, Kid Icarus, and more. I'm already saving money for them

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in SNES Remix

BassLostie

Mr. Hayashida has done a great work on NES REMIX. NES REMIX 2, looks much better with all the real remixes shown on this last Nintendo Direct (like Samus destroying bricks on a Mario Stage, or Link fighting in Bowser's Castle). So I think it's very likely they would develop SNES Remix.

I think most of Nintendo true fans (including myself) where mostly enchanted by Nintendo games on the SNES era. So, Nintendo needs to make this happen.
