Mario games are fine, but Nintendo needs to find a better balance. I dont see why they don't have a team of developers working on a new ip suited to wii u. It seems like Nintendo fans would be thrilled to see a brand new, creative offering from the minds at Nintendo. E3 just seemed like too much of the same. Nintendo is in no position to be playing it safe. They need to generate some real excitement around their new console, and I think that's hard to do with sequels, however innovative they may be.
