-The majority of the footage shown is from STALKERS, as are the concept drawings.
-They are using the Unity engine instead of their own game engine, which they quote is scalable, allowing for the downgrade to Wii U.
-Vostok Games(Ex STALKER devs) appears to have confirmed on their forums that the people associated with the project are not STALKER and Metro Last Light devs
-Estimated finish date of September 2015 and they have nothing to actually show for it, and for only $50,000.00 it appears a very small budget for where the project appears to be at.
-The author of the book "Areal" has no connection to this project, granted I don't speak Ukranian so that's a difficult one to confirm.
Honestly, on their own I could look past them. But the more I look into it, the more I need to see before I back it again.
Please don't take my word for it, if you are interested please check some details for yourself guys. I have noticed there's an update on the Kickstarter page. Hopefully as time goes on all my concerns are alleviated.
EDIT- The name associated with the payment doesn't match any of the staff named. West-Games have stated the man works there in their PR team but it seems a little off.
Created my account to say this. There's a very real chance this Kickstarter is false. I was initially a backer but have pulled out due to the inconsistencies in what I have seen. Also the project creator isn't responding to the issues put forth in the comments section. I hope I am incorrect. I am not trying to hate on this project, quite the opposite. I am very excited at the prospect of Areal actually coming to the Wii U. I would ask Thomas Whitehead to offer up any information he has regarding the people involved with this project.
