@Slideaway1983 for me, I enjoyed Alien 3 on the GB despite it really not being an enjoyable game! I enjoyed Isolation too, but a huge fan of the films.
Going back to LRG - like you, have only ever brought standard editions, but outside of the delays, they have always come good. I mean, people are happy to pay upfront for concert tickets, sports events, holidays and the like so ive never really felt it fair to blame LRG for taking money upfront for games.
Afer all, it helps with their cash flow and allows them to continue to meet their month to month obligations.
@SuppressorSteve LRG dont deserve your money? Suee, they've had some adverse publicity over the years but personally, I have nothing but praise for them.
They've allowed me to continue my physical collection on the OG Switch, giving me games that would likely never have seen light of day in terms of a retail release otherwise.
I think at this stage I must have ordered around 30 OG Switch games through them and not once had any issues - the quality of their products is absolutely fine, they have good customer service...literally not a complaint against them from myself.
Given i commented on it, i apologise. It's been over a year now and still irks me that people cant get over it. As inconvenient as they may be, its not going to stop me buying some of the amazing games we've already seen on the console.
@JumpingJackson I love physical gaming- I have over 300 Switch 1 games physically. But if the choices are GKC, or missing out on some of the great third party games the Switch 2 has offered so far, im going with the former, all day every day.
@HugoGED sure, but given how i like playing my console on the go and having a choice of rooms in the house to play it in given I own a number of docks, I'll take GKCs all day long just for the convenience the Switch 2 has.
@Misima I didnt like the Game Key Card situation to start with. But if I had kept that attitude I would of missed out on a lot of great Switch 2 games. Put 115 hours into Pokopia, and GKC or not, im glad I didnt miss out.
I still use eBay on the regular - such a useful site to find nostalgic tat I grew up with in the 90s. I know there are now alternatives out there but for me, eBay is what I know best and I hope if this takeover does go through sweeping changes to the model or app wont be made.
@Pigrotto dont feel sorry bud. Never nice to hear of people losing their jobs, but dont let regret fill your mind...as you said, the game isnt your style so you wouldn't have purchased it otherwise.

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Doesn't Rule Out Wario Appearing In A Future Mario Movie
If we've got Rosalina and the teaser of 'that' character at the end of the Galaxy 2 movie, I dont see why characters like Wario shouldnt be included.
Could even make a point of a Bowser / Wario team up in a future film, something we oddly havent had in the game series up to now (to my knowledge)
