@HerroThar well, if it doesn't sell well, we could argue that it was bad judgement. Nevertheless I am glad I was able to get the Switch day one. I remember when the Wii came out and it took over a year before I could get one.
@HerroThar the stock situation in Norway has nothing to do with Nintendo of Europe, Bergsala distributes Nintendo products in Norway. I think it's interesting how easy the Switch is to find here as well, it doesn't seem to be selling well at all, unless Bergsala thought it would take off and made sure we got plenty.
It's most likely just a placeholder. They give one of the latest possible Summer release dates, and then customers are happy when the game is released before. It's probably that simple.
I hope the Pokémon rumor isn't true. I'm going to get the NX day one, but I really think each Pokémon generation should stay on 1 handheld. If they suddenly do Pokémon Sun and Moon and then a remake, new title or sequel on a different console, many people won't be able to partake in the entirety of the generation.
It seems you get points according to the ordinary price, even when buying games with discounts. I bought several games under kr 41 which is the lower limit in Norway, and I still got the 10 gold points.
I find it baffling that the producers of games have to pay to get their games rated in countries where games have to be rated to be allowed. When the state puts forth such limits to protect kids, the state should take the cost.
Hopefully they'll extend the new loyalty program to Scandinavia! I know Club Nintendo wasn't the biggest deal, but it would be nice to not be left out.

According to VGChartz Pokémon still outsells Yokai Watch in Japan. So what marketshare is it the Associate Brand Manager refers to?
