@Friendly for 2 gens now. There is no reason to own anything other than a PC and a Switch 2 for 100% access to all games. The rest is a total waste of money and buying then makes no sense at all when they have no exclusives. Just buy a PC. As for this thing, it will sell as much as the Steam Deck did. Yes it surpassed the DS by now since another month has passed. And surpassing the PS2, with some extra millions to add, is a nobrainer. Anyone saying otherwise has no clue about the industry and sales happening. With 4m Switch 1 consoles at least to be sold until March 2026, selling 2m more will be done way before Holidays 2026, and it will go on to sell some more millions too for the next 2 years to add. Also we do know how many PS2 have been produced, so Sony can't pretend otherwise anymore throwing fake number out there. The last PS2 produced was the 160,636,885th. Not to mention, not all of those were sold, since it would be total nonsense if anyone believed that there was a 100% sell through. Not even one unit more than those exists, so here goes 1st place to Switch 1 next year and that's the end of it. Fun fact that the PS2 was also sold as the cheapest good DVD Player of it's time too, or else it wouldn't even have sold anywhere near that number. Not to mention it barely had any competition with the other consoles selling only 45m in total. Switch 1 on the other hand is a pure console with no extra non gaming / multimedia nonsense, and its competition was 150m previous gen consoles and 114m and rising current gen consoles from the other two. There's no greater achievement than what the Switch 1 did ( as well as amassing the biggest and best console library ever in existence by far ), and it will never be surpassed at anything ever. And it totally deserves it, nothing more to add .-

Meaning there is no way Sony can make up any higher number even if it keeps fooling people telling them that all of them have been sold, which is not realistic. So in the end, Switch will surpass PS2 sometime in 2026. Bids on 156m+ Switch until the end of 2025 for starters. If they would just drop the price or / and release something like Switch Lite OLED too, it would be much faster. But all in all it's unavoidable, Switch will get the all time 1st place.

The most powerful console never ever sold the most in any gen, but the one with the best library of games. To achieve a great experience on big screens you need a library like Switch & PS4, not the one PS5 currently has which is way more than simply lacking. So, move over PS5, just a bit more until 100m or something and that's as far as you'll go, while Switch 2 will probably even hit 200m in 10 years.
Common sense. Add DLSS and it's pretty much on par with Series S. A simple look at its specs, newer arcitecture & games released makes that totally clear. Using Cyberpunk for comparison it's clearly miiiiiles ahead of half performance things like PS4 base and Steam Deck, and clearly also better than PS4 Pro ( can't go beyond 30fps on Cyberpunk ), so it's elementary to compare it with that outdated hardware. It can run everything from the current gen, and it will get everything too in the following months/years too. Heck, even Street Fighter 6 looks way better than the Series S version and neraly on par with PS5/SeriesX. Not to mention that its DLSS will be constantly be updated throughout the years, its OS usage is being reduced to 1 core from 2 and 2GB Ram from 3, freeing more resources and its CPU/GPU speeds can be unlocked to add 70% more CPU performance and 40% more GPU performance ( they unlocked partially the ones in Switch at one point, so they will do the same here too in the future ). Meaning it will also get "more powerful" as time passes too. So all in all complaining about graphics on Switch 2 is total nonsense and a product of ignorance. It's not like on Switch's case, get your fact straight. Not that it matters, it wouldn't sell less gazillions, even it was less powerful than it is, cause games!

Switch 2 using 8nm is total nonsense in other words. To be exact Switch 2, based on everything we know, is going to be on the same level as a Xbox Series S ( 4 Teraflops docked ), with 4K docked using DLSS ( 1080p portable ), better ray-tracing, ray reconstruction, mesh shaders and 12 GB Ram with no ram bottlenecks like that one. It will run anything released on the other systems in simple words. Anybody expecting anything else has no clue what he's talking about and not worth wasting time on.
