Playstige Interactive has announced that its new first-person puzzle game NeonLore is coming to Switch on 20th April. Set in the distant future, NeonLore sees you solving puzzles and talking to people to try and figure out what has happened to the human race.
The game will let you explore the streets at your own pace, and it's entirely free-form too, meaning you can do many of NeonLore's puzzles in any order, and check out areas in the city as and when you want. There are also audiobooks to collect in-game which have been written by sci-fi authors.
Check out what you can expect from the game from Playstige's press release:
NeonLore is a first-person free-form exploration game. You’ll meet interesting characters and discover what has happened to the human race in the near future.
In NeonLore you will solve puzzles and encounter various characters and learn about their past life, dreams, and fears and get a chance to discover deeper about the social transformations that have impacted human life in the 21st century. You will also have access to 4 different audiobooks that contain 4 different cyber-punk-themed novels, written exclusively for this game by sci-fi authors. You will enjoy listening to them while continuing to explore the vistas…
Will you be picking NeonLore up when it launches on 20th April? Let us know.

Reminds me of Cloudpunk, decent idea poorly executed ran like crap.
When it said "Meet Exciting Characters" while showing those uncanny valley meat faces, I snorted.
Actually looks kinda cool...... I like the X-Fileseey music. (is that even a word?)
I just want a Dex 2. I LOVED that
So a main selling point is a couple of audiobooks read to you by a text to speech program? Odd.
Looks like a weird and clunky game I would enjoy. Might get this one as a bedtime game to unwind and ease my anxiety.
