One upcoming live-action video game movie we're looking forward to is Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The first one did quite impressively at the box office, and the second entry is expected to be even bigger and better now that it features Knuckles.

As we get closer to the second movie's launch this April, Paramount Pictures has shared another clip via social media featuring some additional footage. It's at least something to tide us over until the movie shows up.

If you're keen for more footage of Sonic's next big screen outing - you might want to tune into this year's Super Bowl on 13th February. According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures could be airing a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 spot:

"Paramount is looking to air spots for the Sandra Bullock-Channing Tatum-Brad Pitt movie The Lost City (March 25), which was just announced as a world premiere title at SXSW, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (April 8)."

A spot for the original Sonic the Hedgehog movie was previously aired at Super Bowl, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the sequel got the same treatment.

IGN's upcoming 'fan fest' event on 19th February will also include Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The latest Sonic 2 clip from Paramount follows on from the debut of the official trailer at The Game Awards last December.
