Voltorb, in his original, Gen 1 appearance, is an angry ball of explosions and rage. It looks like a Poké Ball, and that's about it — and then evolves into "upside down Poké Ball" to really mix things up. But it seems like The Pokémon Company is all about rehabilitating maligned and unappreciated Pokémon these days, because Pokémon Legends: Arceus is getting a Hisuian Voltorb.
But wait! There's more! Hisuian Voltorb is different to his grumpy Kanto counterpart. Not only does it have sick eyebrows, but this Voltorb is a happy-go-lucky pal who just wants to hang out with other Pokémon. In this wonderful little stop-motion animation, you can get to know Hisuian Voltorb's personality... and also see a Spheal cry
Which Hisuian form or evolution is your favourite so far?

I know a lot of people like to hate on voltorb's and electrode's designs, but I'm a big fan of simplicity. Saying that, making voltorb wooden is the most adorable thing. I love it.
As a kid Voltorb was always special to me because it was Pokemon number 100, I mean that was something even I could remember. It also was (and still is to this day) the only Pokemon I can draw.
I wish to ponder the orb
It has a mouth?
Also, gotta love how Spheal is terrified by it. As any water type should.
@Expa0 I can’t draw any Pokemon. Not even Ditto.
@Expa0 it was the same for me, except Voltorb shared this trait with Diglett, being special number 50 and because I also could draw it
Can draw Koffing #109 and Magnemite #81 as well.
@Skid Yeah I quite like them. It might even be stronger than usual in Legends Arceus if this version is similarly fast as the original.
Given Pokemon can get multiple attacks per turn based on their stats, and Electrode has one of the highest speed stats in the entire series.
Um, to be continued??? So more reveals on the way? New form of Electrode?
I love how it doesn't have eyelids
Voltorb, the Pokémon you can point to when someone accuses a new Pokémon of being unimaginative.. that and Muk.
The only reason I like them is that they use Explode like Gravelers, but have the good manners not to have the Sturdy ability.
