If you're a subscriber of Nintendo's Switch Online service and happen to be located in North America, the next free game trial you'll be given access to is the survival title, Don't Starve: Nintendo Switch Edition.
It'll be made available in this region on 15th December (tomorrow) and will be playable until next week. You can also pre-download the game ahead of its free trial offer - allowing you to jump straight into the action when it goes live.
For Switch Online subscribers located in Europe, the current trial available is for Shin'en Multimedia's Art of Balance - which can be downloaded and played until 20th December.
Will you be giving this latest Nintendo Switch trial a go? Tell us in the comments.

...Guess I'll take a look at this one at some point. Dunno yet...
Great, finally something I really want to play for these trials. Have played the game on PC for 40+ hours but haven't bought it on Switch because of bugs.
Damn I was hoping it would be another RPG or something.
I already have this game unfortunately.
This is a great game. Try it if you haven’t on one of its many platforms.
Switch deserves don’t starve together
it baffles me how the Switch, a system built for co-op play, never got Don't Starve Together
kinda tough with console controls since this game goes from calm to death really fast if you are stuck juggling inventory ... and without any mods good luck doing anything but barely surviving ..
It's wonderful on the PC though
I loved this game when I used to play it. It'd be nice to see how the Switch version performs. But, by the time I get around to playing these free trials they have always expired.
I bought this one on sale and I have to admit that I never really got that far. It's not a game for me, I'm afraid. And I love roguelikes, usually, but maybe when you're used to Binding of Isaac a lot of other games in the genre pale in comparison. I don't know exactly why I didn't like this game, but the day/night cycle definitely had something to do with it.

@San_D I have played this game for even longer on PC, and even on Switch, but I was forced to stop due to a game-breaking bug: files more than one season long would crash not long after start-up.
I certainly hope that Klei Entertainment (with all their Tencent backing) has attended to all that, because this "free trial" is nothing but a cynical joke otherwise.
@CANOEberry Thanks for replying - yes this is what I have read, but no one mentions if there was a patch. Since you have the game, was there any patch to fix this? Otherwise, I agree, there's not much point in playing or buying this.
Really good game for a free trial, its a game that I think if anyone tries it they will be ready to spend hours in to it.
@San_D Since I purchased the game in 2019, none of the patches for Switch have addressed the bugs I've found, and others (such as the persistent issues around entering or exiting caves) are still generating complaints on Klei's own forums.
The problem seems to be that Klei is busy adding content (like the Hamlet mode, or a crossover with Terraria), rather than ensuring stability on all platforms. For the record, I've encountered few problems with the PC version.
Why can't Nintendo use their first party games? Games like Animal Crossing or Smash Bros can be play forever, one week is a good trial period for people to get a taste.
@CANOEberry Thanks again. Does not sound good though.
