In case you missed it, Bandai Namco is releasing a new online Dragon Ball game and it's coming to Switch in 2022.
Dragon Ball: The Breakers is more comparable to survival games such as Dead by Daylight and will see seven survivors either working together or alone to escape from the Temporal Seam and avoid being caught by the "raider". It's worth noting the raider can take on the form of Cell, Buu and Frieza - and each antagonist comes with their own unique powers. Survivors will also be able to transform into famous legendary super warriors.

In the lead-up, Bandai Namco has now announced a closed beta test, taking place on Steam between 3rd and 4th December. While this won't include the Nintendo Switch version there is a new trailer that's worth a look and will teach you more.
This new asymmetrical online title will arrive at some point next year on the Nintendo Switch and multiple other platforms. What do you think of it so far? Would you be interested in playing something like this set within the Dragon Ball universe? Leave a comment down below.

I'm sorry but this looks so boring and uninspired.
Even DBZ Kakarot didn't look this bad.
this looks pretty fun, here's hoping it is pretty fun
Lol never imagined a DB game where I could play as Oolong. They should have made the rest of the survivors part of the DB cast that is not a fighter, not random people.
Somehow this feels more like a minigame than an actual full game.
While i have negative interest in these asynchronous multiplayer games, i applaud them for finally coming up with a new idea for the Dragon Ball IP.
Imo, a great pick for a setting. I hope it does OK and makes them confident in breaking away from the fighting game formula every once in a while.
Finally were getting something different from DBZ, The fighting games are cool and all but how many of those have we gotten? Its just a breath of fresh air, here's to hopping its good.
At first i was like.. mehhh..
But now i think its a lot of fun playing this with friends. Its resfreshing. But i wont see myself buying this at 60€.
It looks pretty dope actually. Not sure if I'll get it though. Kinda depends how they'll handle DLC for this game
@Yosher i think it's safe to hazard a guess between kakarot, fighterz, and xv2: Way Too Dang Much
@somebread You'd think, but I dunno with the nature of this game. It would probably mostly be cosmetic if they do it. Which could still be too much but I could live with that, sorta.
We'll see!
This is inaccurate to DBZ. I am upset, they completely disregard the lore of Dragon Ball Z by remembering Oolong's ability to transform.
Joking aside, This trailer looks neat, looking forward to the game not actually having cutscenes like this.
This looks like brilliant fun
This looks interestingly fun to try. Can't wait lol. The pig looks to be the most advantagous
