Sucks that I have to wait an extra day for Tetris Effect. there's not even a pre-order option 😞
Solid week! I’m broke so my picks are going in the BF bin, lol. Waiting on my metroid amiibo though.
Metroid Dread special edition says it’s going to arrive to me today! So excited… I also got an alert that Absolute Drift went on sale for $8.99 today… so… might get that too I don’t know.
Otherwise, need to fish through this list and see if there are any hidden gems. I know I’m getting Dusk later this month too
EDIT: And I still want that hot wheels game!
I really do wonder why Metroid Dread is higher than every other game lol
Lol why release any game next to metriod lol..only metriod tonight at midnight for me
@CharlieGirl Seems that it must be a midnight Friday release rather than a regular eShop update release for whatever reason. Already out here in Australia. 25% off for whatever it's worth so hopefully it should be on sale in all regions once available.
I'm tempted to double dip to get Disco Elysium for the Switch.
The game is really unique, but I would caution people that its subject-matter is quite disturbing at times.
Wow. A lot of releases. But only physical releases of Metroid Dread and Disco Elysium, when it’s released next year for me. Though Tetris Effect does look interesting.
AAA Clock, obviously
Just kidding... Metroid Dread for me
It's going to be a long wait for that Disco Elysium physical copy... we'll see if my willpower can last that long. Also curious to see if Tetris Effect will get a physical release somewhere in this wide world of ours.
Waiting for so damn long for Disco Elysium. So happy this is coming, I can only be disappointed from here.
Metroid and Disco Elysium for me
Metroid, Tetris and Critadel for me. I’m thrilled. Once I get my hands on my oled and Metroid, I’m dead to the world.
Ya'll ever consider including thumbnails in these posts? Would help a lot when looking over a list of obscure games I've never heard of!
I'll be getting both Metroid Dread and Disco Elysium at later dates. More than enough to keep me busy right now.
Metroid this weekend, and will keep an eye out for Disco Elysium performance reviews and may hold out for a sale.
Dread, physical, the minute Target opens Friday.
Never looked in to Disco before but it looks pretty intetesting. Will be picking up Dread tomorrow for sure if i can grab a retail copy
That cyberpunk card game looks kind of good ngl.
Does anyone know if Tetris Effect has a physical version? Or plans on one?
Today's ACA game is Genpei Toumaden, a very bizarre sidescroller/beat-em-up made by Namco.
Or also known as The Genji and the Heike Clans when it was previously released on Namco Museum Vol. 4 for the PS1.
I think the west had only previously gotten the sequel to its TG16 port, titled Samurai Ghost.
Metroid Dread, Tetris Effect: Connected and Switch OLED on friday... looking forward for a great weekend!
This week I got physical versions of World End Syndrome (Import Limited Edition), Clannad (Collector's Edition), Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! (October 8), If My Heart Had Wings, Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition (Limited Run Games) and Food Girls (Import). Cost me over $600 for all of it but good stuff and worth it!
A lot of my weekly picks go onto my wish list and I don't always end up buying them, but Tetris Effect and Metroid Dread are must haves.
I only wish I could get 10 "AAA Clocks" for my Switch.
@KingMike Hopefully they can get the rest of the games from the Namco Museum set. I waited too long to buy all of them from the PlayStation Network Store and I want that Valkyrie game. I also want Ms. Pac-Man, preferably with optional super speed like I've seen on pretty much every single arcade version in the last decade. I know there are legal issues, but if they can get it on PS4 and Xbox One, how hard can it be to get it on Switch?
If you enjoy good writing Disco Elysium is a must buy. Just saying.
Because they're modern classics:
Because I have a compulsion to buy every (previously) Japan-only game I can find:
