Are you seeking a battle royale with a zoological twist? Probably not, but you might still be interested in Super Animal Royale.
Yes, that's right, this unique take on the battle royale genre that was announced for the Nintendo Switch earlier this year has now been simultaneously released as a free-to-play title across every single platform. It's about 800 MB in size.
As you can see, this isn't some cute and cuddly animal-themed game. Nope, each creature has an arsenal of weapons at their disposal as they battle in a 64 player arena to be the ah... last animal standing on the battlefield.
It's further noted how the Asia release will be coming later on, and the console launch (version 1.0) also includes one of the game's biggest updates yet:

It's a mix of animal crossing meets fortnite lol not my type of game but looks meh ok to me....I'll stick with my single player games.
AND ITS FREEEEE, I might stick to this one.
I read free to play, I skip. It looks cute but free to play is an instant turn off.
I add all the freemiums anyway, but despite low resonance with multiplayer BRs, 800 Mb is something I may likely give a roll at least once. Besides, this title boasts one of the quirkiest premises in the field.
Screw it, why not?!
Funny thing is its an alright game. Just doesn't have a lot of players (100 player battle royale.. lol most of that is gunna be bots). I actually like it better than the other BRs.
Now on the switch idk (just play it on PC) i guess it might be playable early on during (seriously why bother just get it on PC for free and in a current patch lol...) launch while there's news (do you not own a computer?) on it.
I think one of the biggest mistakes was the leveling system is painfully slow.. i remember how long it took to grind to get an animal I'd want and even some of that take eons more time than that. The updates are ok, I remember being upset about how they tried to "balance" some things with the weapons but I can't remember which ones specifically.. think it was the sniper being removed or something.
i remember buying the game in its early access stage. its was pretty fun and i think the free-to-play model suits it well. there really wasnt anything to earn besides costumes and level-pride. glad to see the the game still doing well all these years later, i might pick it back up again
I have over 100 hours on Xbox, it is great being able to carry everything over to the Switch.
I don't know if I'll get the game, but I loved the puns in the trailer.
Hey, it's like Zooba except better!
It's free - I'll download it. If nothing else, it may get my kid off of Fortnite for a little while.
@Chrisjames
OK, this game was a lot more fun than i expected!
@mjharper I use to get down on Zooba on my iPhone.. I fell off because I got tired of the tiny screen though because it hurt my eyes.. I’ll definitely give this a try.. should be plenty of people to play with now that it’s free everywhere.. I didn’t fully read the article but I really hope it’s cross play
best battle royale by far
