Too many garbage, why Nintendo doesn't make shovelware its own section in the eShop?
Quality control the eShop is really starting to become a problem
This is slowly turning into the second Steam Store lol
MH Stories 2 starts off the insane release month of July for me. I'm happy to be excited for Switch releases for once!
Does anybody read ALL of these descriptions to see how many games they want to buy? I can't even be bothered to read all the titles.
I usually start by ignoring any game whose name is written in ALL CAPS
I still vividly recall those times back in 3ds/wii/wiiU era when every thursday eshop update was exciting.
Today's Arcade Archive game: Sea Fighter Poseiden by Taito.
Screenshots make me think of Sqoon, but maybe this game was first?
I think Sqoon was made by Irem, so maybe there's a chance of it appearing on ACA if it isn't.
Unless it was made by Home Data, who did the NES port. (and was the company that actually created Yoshi's Cookie, though somewhere in between making a number of adult mahjong games as well )
@Ghost_of_Hasashi @TheFrenchiestFry @rjejr @anynamereally Feast or Famine. Maybe the lean Wii U days had its advantages.
Quantity does not guarantee quality.
@Tandy255 I just think maybe Nintendo could release games every day, or 5 days a week then maybe people WOULD read the descriptions of the handful of games that came out each day. No rule that says only 1 day per week. Physical does tend to always come out of Thursdays but 90% of these each week are digital only. Spread them out, let them each get their moment to shine. 🤷♂️
People need to understand that just because the games are not done by a multimillion dollar company does not mean that it's garbage.
Ok time to get the shovel!
@hyperballad Yes, it's true! I buy Woodcutter and I liked the game very much. A pleasant retroplatform without exaggerated effects like in neoretroplatforms. Admittedly, the PC version is much better and is constantly updated with new levels, even a shopkeeper has been added recently. But despite that, I am very happy, great graphics, music and a nice gameplay that is not very demanding. Plus a low price, no exaggeration for a turkey!
And here Woodcutter for comparison, there's a PC demo:
@TheFrenchiestFry I do not understand? You don't want to, don't buy it, you won't be dictating what to is in eShop what not! Tastes are different... For me this new "Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin" is a kind of misunderstanding.
@Specter_of-the_OLED Just because a game doesn't have a million dollar budget doesn't mean it's garbage. I can pull up high-budget AAA games, like Yoshi wool, for example.
