If you've been wanting to see how Super Mario 3D World's new Bowser’s Fury mode will play in co-op mode, you're certainly in luck, as Nintendo has shared a video exploring exactly that. Handy.
In the video above, Nintendo Minute's Kit and Krysta jump straight into some Bowser's Fury multiplayer action, with one player controlling Mario, and the other controlling Bowser Jr.. You'll see the pair exploring some super-colourful platforming sections before being hunted down by Bowser's terrifying new form.
Of course, if you choose to play Bowser's Fury alone, that's fine too. In this case, you'll play as Mario, with Bowser Jr. floating alongside you to help out where necessary – it even looks like you'll be able to adjust just how much assistance Bowser Jr. offers.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches on Switch this Friday, 12th February. You can get your pre-orders in here, or if you'd prefer to wait, make sure to stay tuned for our full review which will be published on the site later this week.
If the first review from Japan is anything to go by, things are looking very promising indeed.

Can't wait to play this with my son this weekend! Waiting for my dispatched email now.
Pre-ordered it the day after the trailer came out last month! Super excited for it, even though I played the original on Wii U. Would definitely give it a glowing recommendation to anyone who hasn't played it. And Bowser's Fury looks like tons of fun. Friday can't come soon enough!
I really hate puns so much... at least how they were used in this video...
@RareFan You not liking the puns is cat-a-strophic.
My Wife loves Yoshi & Bowser Jr (Our Tortoise is named Yoshi) so she’ll enjoy playing as Bowser’s Baby on Friday Night, while I play as Mario.
It looks a lot of fun & the excitement ramped up when it pre-installed on my Switch last Friday
Kit and Krysta are OG's however corny they can be sometimes, I will always watch their videos
Bowser's Fury looks class!
Decided I won't be buying the game until I have completed the All Stars games and seeing as I am only halfway through Mario 64 it will be a while yet.
When does the review embargo lift?
@RareFan I feel-ine you,
When’s the review embargo? Anyone have any idea?
@TheFullAndy good luck bro!! i did all the starts on mario 64 recently then I beat sunshine (very good also), but not with all the shines.. I haven't started galaxy. but preordered already 3D world! hehe! very excited!!
If it's three days out, where the heck is your review of the game?
@rex_rex
Cheers bud, I won't be aiming to 100% the games initially but just get to the end credits with them and will go back if I find the time to 100% them.
@abbyhitter apparently the embargo lifts tomorrow. But its weird for nintendo to be so secretive about a re release with some dlc added
Downloaded the game last night but I don't want to see any spoilers so I'm not watching the video
@Moonlessky Maybe it is because they do not want the add-on game to be spoiled. If even an iota of information is leaked beforehand, Nintendo understandably has a hissy fit.
Cautiously optimistic about this mode. Already 100%ed the original on Wii U (purchased through a voucher I won on this very site!), but I’ve a Game Voucher burning a hole in my eShop account and if reviews say Bowser’s Fury is worth the asking price, I’ll double dip.
@Beermonkey cool that you play with your son!
@reporterdavid He loves his switch. He's nearly 6yrs old and treats it so well. My wife works late at the weekend so we have father and son gaming time in the evening on Saturday usually followed by a film. Love my Saturdays.
with 12 islands to explore, and 100 cat shines to find, this is going to be one adventure I cannot wait to take. two great games on one cartridge. Thank you nintendo.
@The_Pixel_King from what I’ve heard, it’s typically a day or two before the game comes out. So, it could be tomorrow or Thursday!
@BeastMode44 Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. 2pm tomorrow or Thursday. Was just wondering if any of the editors picked up my comment and could confirm. I’m getting it regardless of any review, but I’m looking forward to reading it all the same.
Was at Target in Colorado earlier today, and they were unpacking Mario 3D water bottles, which are apparently a purchase bonus. May not be as popular as McDonald's Pokemon crappy meals, but it's something for anyone who cares.
@Slowdive Though I focus on the review content more than the score at the bottom, I too am really hoping it gets the 10 that it deserves. Though I guess it’ll boil down to how good the Bowser’s Fury expansion part is. Either way, really looking forward to the review!
I’ve finished the DLC campaign yesterday and wow! It was briliant! Hopefully 9 or 10/10 reviews will emerge! Rest of the game is still on par as it was on Wii U.
@Beermonkey Cant wait to do "WhahhhoOo!" with my own son once I have one. Nintenkid.
