Nothing for me this week. Not really anything noteworthy on my watch list on sale either so this might be the first week in a while that I don't buy anything. Good news for my bank account and backlog.
I am SO READY for Need for Speed. Even got that c-tier "Speed 3" game to help me trough the last few days till the NFS release. Not recommended though.
But hopefully in a few hours everything will be fine.
Oh ya i was excited when it was rumored in the summer this game was fast
What's this game
I played the demo for that Kingdom Hearts rhythm game. Couldn't get my head around it as it was just too hard to tell when you were meant to hit the notes. It all got a bit confusing but the music is undeniably great and it certainly has charm. One to watch for when it's on cheap.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for sure! Absolutely loved the game on my ps3. Would love to 100% it again on the switch! Super happy for this month with NFS and Age of Calamity coming out!
And then fiddle around with PS5 the whole winter until MH:Rise is out. And once it’s out - it’s out for good. I haven’t been so excited for a video game since Bloodborne.
@EngineerMario You mean "Speed 3"?
Need for speed on cartridge
And Santa's Xmas Adventure for Christmas
@Yanina
Nice try but no
A month ago during Amazon sales I pre-ordered a copy of NFS for 15 euros, can't wait to try it tomorrow
Nothing for me this week, which is just as well as I just spent a fortune on the Xbox Series X & Yakuza Like a Dragon =0p
I made the mistake of buying Ghostrunner yesterday without waiting for the reviews. There's no gyro aim and the game needs very fast yet accurate aiming, so it's pretty much unplayable on joycons.
Setting a high sensitivity on the analogue allows for fast turning but little accuracy and using a lower setting just makes turning too slow.
I'd recommend avoiding unless they patch in gyro. It's a real shame as it looks awesome and it's basically a Cyberpunk Mirror's Edge.
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is enormous fun. Loved the original in 2010, played it off and on the last 10 years, love the remastered version. Just wish it had local multiplayer.
Saving myself for Sakuna and Age of Calamity next week.
So does Grim Legends 3 mention anything about drug use in their Game Age Rating?
And the mistake isn’t yours, it’s theirs, as it is on the game description in the eShop itself…
@EngineerMario sonic the hedgehog
@BulkSlash I have to agree with you. It looks great and has enormous style (that icon is amazing!), but I also had a hard time playing it. I thought that is on me though, and that I am just not good enough for that kind of game.
@USWITCH64
No it's a game on the list above
Need for speed,Fuser and Family Feud
@horizoniki How much hours do you think NFS offers? And did you do any online back then? Has it some progression system for online play and long term fun because if it?
Ghost Runner is loads of fun - surprised it's not on here!
Just the Game & Watch for me this week
Been watching NFS vids and can’t wait. I’ll play both sides of the law. Oh yeah. Cracking game 10 years ago and to play full game (and more) in handheld is frankly....
Bonkers
Also fancy fuser down the road when cheaper.
Have the game and watch coming too. And had a couple of old games delivered to keep me busy too.
Don’t forget to pick up physical ghostbusters if you even half fancy it before it’s replaced by a code in a box
Was browsing discounts, found Abzü for 2 euro, for that money it's an absolute steal, it's a short and linear experience but it's quite beautiful to behold.
Needs for Speed and maybe something off my extensive wishlist that has been discounted. The Guitar 'app' game maybe fun for the family if it runs ok and when it is discounted later.
I have Need for Speed downloaded and ready! Speed 3 Grand Prix looks interesting, I'll wait for a review.
Wait people here are willing to give evil EA their money. This is my type of thread.
NFS is not to bad a of remaster, HOWEVER last time I played this game It didn't require me to give my Name/Dob/ and email just so I can play online. EA takes your money then sells your data.
@BulkSlash Looks awesome? I heard the game is a complete visual mess on Switch
@Sparrowhawk I didn’t bother playing beyond the tutorial area because of the lack of gyro, so maybe the rest of the game looks bad but the bits I played undocked looked pretty decent for the Switch. I think it was using dynamic resolution scaling so it looked quite blurry at times but the neon signs and metal towers all looked suitably Blade Runner.
But like I say, I only played a very short bit before quitting in annoyance so maybe they put all the polish into the first area.
@Yanina I’m at 15 hours now, roughly 75% complete. Haven’t tried online yet, but Autolog has been super fun as far as I remember.
