Luigi's green doppelgänger Gooigi was first introduced to us last year in the Luigi's Mansion remake for Nintendo 3DS.
Since then, this new character's history has been fleshed out in Professor E. Gadd's research journals. He'll also be returning in the upcoming Switch release Luigi's Mansion 3 next week.
If you've grown as fond of this green and gooey blob as we have over the past year, and are tired of wearing the same old costume every Halloween, then this Gooigi mask on the Play Nintendo website might be for you. Above is the mask itself and below is the description:
What happens when you convert Luigi’s biological data into an electrical signal, then input it into a gooey element? You get Gooigi, an exceedingly green copy of Luigi who can help solve puzzles and fight ghosts in the Luigi’s Mansion 3 game. You can make your own Gooigi mask with this printable craft!
All you have to do is download and print the file available from the Play Nintendo website. To assemble this mask, you'll need some sturdy paper, ribbon or string, tape or glue (optional), a hole punch (optional) and scissors.
Will you be dressing up as Gooigi this Halloween? Leave a comment below.

To say this is a Halloween costume on a budget is, erm...putting it mildly.
At least it's not as frightening as the Sonic Movie one.
@PBandSmelly green saran wrap.....everywhere
@PBandSmelly : Messy, I'd imagine. Just don't commit any serious crimes whilst donning a Gooigi costume as you'll likely leave a trail, and the cops will repeatedly trip over the goo and get injured.
@PBandSmelly
Very sticky.
Become an uninspired character this halloween!
Love it.
What is sturdy paper? Do they mean cardboard?
Bungie just did this in Destiny for Eris Morn print mask. I think it’s super cheap and dumb, just me.
I replaced my printer's ink with industrial-grade goo and my mask did not come out as pictured.
@GX_64 Sturdy Paper isn't like cardboard. It's more like what they use to make Business Cards, or even Birthday Cards, out of. Card Stock, Index Cards, etc.
Goo-d goo-ing, Nintendo. I'll Goo-gle instructions.
This is for the kid who has nothing to spend
@JayJ
Pity that poor kid.
@RickD
Because off course.
( not sure if srs)
This being free on the Play Nintendo website makes even more of a mockery - if that's even possible at this point - of all the printable stuff on offer on My Nintendo. Still no Switch games though.
Here's a calendar wallpaper for 50 plat coins that's useful for another 6 days or so.

Or, ya could just download this image and use it.
@PBandSmelly this cut out mask, green long sleeve shirt, green overalls, green shoes, green gloves
This seems like a bad joke or an ill thought out "freebie"(I use that term loosely). Nintendo, why oh why, do you continue to treat us like second class humans? Where is the old Club Nintendo merchandise?
Haha I like it! And its free for the kiddies so you can't complain.
